"And I admire your ability to die!" |
Final Shine Attack (ファイナルシャインアタック Fainaru Shain Atakku) is an Energy Wave used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan form.
Overview[]
Vegeta puts his right hand to his side and charges a green energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward to launch it as a huge energy wave, dealing massive damage to his opponent.
Usage[]
Super Saiyan Vegeta uses this attack during the battle against Super 17, but it proves ineffective against the Super Android.[5]
In the Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime, after dodging Dark King Fu's punches and catching his arm, Xeno Vegito uses a Final Shine Attack at point-blank range, causing the scientist to stumble back in shock.[6]
Variations[]
- Maximum Final Flash - A variation used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form.
- Super Final Shine Attack - A variation used by Xeno Vegeta in his Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form in Dragon Ball Heroes.
- Final Shine Kamehameha - A combination of Final Shine Attack and 10x Kamehameha used by Gogeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form in Dragon Ball Heroes.

Vegeta's Final Shine Attack (one-handed fashion) in Budokai Tenkaichi 2
Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta can perform the Final Shine Attack in several video games in two different fashions: the fashion that he performs the move in Budokai 3 and Infinite World is with the Final Flash stance (like in the battle against Omega Shenron), whereas the fashion that is his Ultimate Blast in Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Sparking! Zero, and Dragon Ball Heroes is performed with one hand (like in the fight against Super 17) where he pulls his right arm a little behind his side and charges his ki saying "Take this, my new finishing move", then he brings his arm forward while shouting "Final Shine Attack!".
In W Bakuretsu Impact, Vegeta can combine this technique with Goku's 10x Kamehameha, just like they do against Omega Shenron in the anime.
In Dragon Ball Heroes, Froze can perform the attack.

Future Warrior using Final Shine Attack in Xenoverse
In Xenoverse, it is one of Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta's Ultimate Skills and can become available for the Future Warrior to purchase at Toki Toki City's Skill Shop through the GT Pack 1 DLC.
In Dragon Ball Fusions, Trunks can perform the attack.

Future Warrior charging their Final Shine Attack-like Energy Wave in Xenoverse 2
In Xenoverse 2, Final Shine returns as one of Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta's Ultimate Skills which can be obtained by the Future Warrior at the TP Medal Shop. In a cutscene during the Future Warrior's battle with Nappa in the main story after surviving Nappa's Bomber DX, the Future Warrior retaliates with a Final Shine-like energy wave that blasts Nappa away just as Goku overpowers Vegeta's Galick Gun with the 4x Kaio-ken Kamehameha. After the 1.09.00 Update, it can be added to Vegeta's custom skillset after purchasing it in Partner Customization. In the Conton City Vote DLC, if the player chooses Fu to give the Demon Realm Crystal to GT Vegeta, he uses this technique in his Super Saiyan 4 form to defeat Golden Great Ape Baby, and after the update that came with said DLC it can also be added to Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta's custom skillset.
