Stripping (色仕掛け, Irojikake, lit. "Sexual Charm") is a technique where the user removes their clothes in order to seduce the opponent to reach their goals. The person may get naked if she wants to increase the effect.

The technique is quite effective when used upon modest males like Nam and most heterosexual men.

The technique can easily fail if the target fails to be seduced by the user due to the target's age and/or lack of lustful desires like Goku. Nam also overcame it by simply closing his eyes and relying on his other senses to attack. It also would likely fail if used by a woman against any heterosexual female or homosexual men, as they would not be seduced, though it may cause them to become disgusted (similar to General Blue's reaction to Bulma's Amorous Glance). It could also backfire if preformed on a lecherous male like Master Roshi who while disguised as Jackie Chun admitted he would enjoy it if Ranfan had used it on him. Roshi later took advantage of scantily clad Ranfan, groping her after she was knocked unconscious by Nam.

Usage[]

Bulmaskirtlift — Bulma attempts to seduce Goku

It was used by Bulma to get a Dragon Ball from Goku, but the attack did not work due to Goku's naïve nature.^[5]

After Master Roshi puts out Fire Mountain with The Original Kamehameha, Bulma (wearing a Bunny costume due to lack of other clothes), forces Oolong to shapeshift into Bunny Girl Bulma to take her place. Unfortunately, Oolong goes too far and briefly pulls down the top of the Bunny costume exposing Bulma's breasts effectively flashing Roshi in the process, though this scene is cut in the U.S. broadcast edit version due to brief nudity (additionally there are some versions of the manga where the flashing scene is altered slightly to censor some of the nudity).^[6]

It was also used by Ranfan, who tried to seduce Nam so she could win the match. In the U.S. broadcast edit version, the stripping was excluded. Instead, the scene of one of Nam's failed attacks is shown followed by her twitching foot to show she was knocked out. This is strangely not edited in recaps, which clearly show her in her underwear.^[7]

In order to help Yamcha defeat See-Through the Invisible Man, Krillin utilizes a similar technique by having Bulma stand in facing Master Roshi, so Krillin can pull her tube top down, flashing her breasts to the Turtle Hermit causing him to have a massive nosebleed which covers See-Through in blood rendering him visible which allows Yamcha to attack and defeat him with the Wolf Fang Fist.

In the Tournament of Power, Caway used the technique against Master Roshi (though only partially as she really only removes her cape), who was nearly caught off guard, though he regained his senses and powered up to intimidate Caway, causing her to jump off the arena.^[8]

In Jiya, after being saved from the Mogans by Galactic Patrolman. Jiya, Beniya Kaede still upset about the alien Jiya mistaking her for a child due to her breast size reconsiders Jiya's request to see her naked (due to his previous remarks she wants to show off how attractive she is & her concluding he was simply curious due to his unfamiliarity with Earthlings) while he was possessing her chauffeur Yukio Kyumonji and as soon as Yukio walks in the room she mistaking him for Jiya, strips down to her Panties by removing her bathrobe causing her to accidentally flash Yukio who unbeknownst to Kaede has a crush on her, though he quickly turns around and admits he's himself at the moment, causing her to yell at him before putting her clothes back on at his request so he can tell her about Vamp coming to destroy the town their staying in due to Jiya killing Vamp's Mogans.

In Go! Go! Ackman, after learning about Ackman's weakness is sexy women, Tenshi hires the lap dancer Ms. Josephine Matsumoto to perform a strip tease in front of Ackman. Unfortunately, the plan comically fails once Ackman discovers Josephine is actually transgender and defeats Tenshi with an uppercut once he realizes Josephine is not biologically female as Ackman's fear only applies to cisgender females.
