Blurb[]

A Dragon Ball fan's greatest dream is getting to live in the Dragon Ball universe and fight alongside Goku and his friends! But one particular fan is in for a rude awakening when he suddenly dies and gets reincarnated as everyone's favorite punching bag, Yamcha![2]

Overview[]

Summary[]

Yamcha defeats Saibamen

Yamcha defeats the Saibamen

The manga begins with an ordinary boy who is a fan of Dragon Ball who accidentally gets himself killed when he falls downstairs trying to get near a girl. Immediately afterwards, he finds himself reincarnated as Yamcha (during the Emperor Pilaf Saga), and after getting his bearings, Yamcha realizes that with his knowledge of events that are to come (such as his death by a Saibaman) he can change history. This leads to him going to train with Roshi immediately with Goku.

By the time of the Saiyan conflict Yamcha has managed to become much stronger than he had in the original story and so defeats the Saibamen by himself, even managing to survive multiple Saibamen grabbing onto him and using Self Destruction. Prior to the Saiyan conflict, he goes to Namek and gets his potential unlocked by Grand Elder Guru, stating that knowing the story beforehand is truly advantageous.

In the Cell Games Yamcha is revealed as not being the only reincarnated person in the Reincarnation Game created by Beerus and Champa, and that an avid Dragon Ball fan who used the online name "Oushou" had been reincarnated as Chiaotzu.

Timeline[]

The Reincarnation Game that these events take place inside was created by Beerus and Champa as a competition at some point after the Universe 6 Saga but before the Universe Survival Saga. The events in the Reincarnation Game's world itself go from the Emperor Pilaf Saga to the Cell Games Saga.
