Holy Light Grenade (神裂光弾, Shin Retsu Kōdan, lit. God Rending Light Bullet)^[2]^[3] is a combined energy ball team attack used by Goku Black and Future Zamasu and by Fused Zamasu occasionally. It is also a precursor to Holy Wrath.

When used by Goku Black and Future Zamasu, they both charge their Black Power Balls, whether for Black being the standard one or Divine Retribution as a Super Saiyan Rosé. Whether they raise it up or just fire it, it will combine to either an orange sun-like sphere or a bright purple energy sphere, again depending if Black is in his Rosé form or not. Once launched, the Holy Light Grenade will turn into a meteor and explode on impact, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Usage[]

Goku Black and Future Zamasu use this technique several times in Goku and Vegeta's travels to the future. First shown when combined to finish Future Trunks and Goku.

In the manga, Fused Zamasu uses this attack against Goku and Vegeta in attempt to finish team off, which was to no avail. He uses it in another attempt to finish Goku off, which Vegito blew off before he could throw it.

In the anime episode "I Will Defend the World! Trunks' Furious Burst of Super Power!", they utilize the technique against the newly transformed Super Saiyan Rage Future Trunks.

Holy Light Grenade makes its debut in Dokkan Battle as a super attack for the team unit of Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé) and Zamasu, where it increases their defensive strength by 30% for three battle turns upon execution. It also appears in Dragon Ball FighterZ as a Super Special Attack for Goku Black.

In Dragon Ball Legends, it was localized as God-Rending Light Bullet where it appears as the Special Move Arts for Zamasu: Goku Black (Assist)(DBL41-04S). In Dragon Ball Legends, Zamasu: Goku Black (Assist)(DBL41-04S) perform the technique in basically the same manner as they did when they fought Super Saiyan Rage Future Trunks (albeit Future Zamasu is on Goku Black's right instead of his left).^[1]
