This article is about the controlled divine Super Saiyan state. For other berserk forms, see Berserk.

"Evil is the true nature of the Saiyans, you say? Wrong! The nature of our proud warrior race is to fight on! You should strive and push for greater strength!"
Vegeta to Turles in "The Pride of the Warrior Race! Vegeta, Awakening!!"

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk Controlled) (スーパーサイヤじんゴッドスーパーサイヤじん暴走ぼうそう制御せいぎょ Sūpā Saiya-jin Goddo Sūpā Saiya-jin Bōsō Seigyo)[1][2] is a very powerful transformation attained as a result of combining the original Super Saiyan Blue form with gaining control over the power of evil that runs berserk.

Overview[]

Appearance[]

SSBEA Vegeta

The transformation's aura.

Compared to the berserk Super Saiyan Blue, Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue aura and Evil Aura switch positions, so that the outer aura is a vibrant blue (signifying control over the berserk power). His eyes gain dark lines, much like how they were as Majin Vegeta, and his body radiates both dark lightning as well as the blue lightning first displayed by Super Saiyan 2. Additionally, his skin takes on a yellowish hue reminiscent of his Super Saiyan God SS Evolved form and his eyes gain visible black pupils similar to those of that form.

Usage and power[]

"If it's only about striving for power, then good and evil are cast aside!"
— Vegeta to Cumber

In Cumber's words, this form is what happens when a Saiyan (Vegeta) overcomes and turns the Evil Aura into their own power, putting aside and rejecting the notion of evil and good, for the principles of power and growth. The transformation is shown to far surpass the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk) state. When achieved for the first time, the user's power receives a tremendous boost, though like most forms, an inexperienced user will struggle to maintain the form for very long. However, it can be mastered extensively to eliminate this weakness.

During the New Space-Time War Saga, in the midst of his battle with Cumber and Turles, Vegeta is affected by the Evil Aura once more, with Turles declaring that he should accept the "true evil" nature of the Saiyans. After remembering his ruthlessness during the events of the Saiyan and Namek Sagas, Vegeta then recalls Goku's selfless and righteous nature is a direct contradiction to Turles's words, granting Vegeta the determination to overcome the Evil Aura, declaring that the true Saiyan nature is to keep fighting and to keep pushing for further strength, resulting in his controlled transformation and pushing his power to an astounding level. He then easily defeated both Evil Saiyan Turles and Super Saiyan 3 Full Power Cumber, who were both using the Evil Aura themselves and previously outmatched Vegeta's standard Blue state on their own. Later, he attempted to attack Super Saiyan Rosé Crimson-Masked Saiyan with a Galick Gun, but reverted to his base state exhausted due to his lack of adjustment to the form.

When hearing of Vegeta having not adjusted to his new form yet, as well as Goku having not mastered Perfected Ultra Instinct, Shroom and his fellow former Demon Gods offered to transport him and Goku to the "Mock Hyperbolic Time Chamber" in order to give them time to refine their forms.

In the anime, after training within the dimension, Vegeta uses the refined power of Super Saiyan Blue (Berserk Controlled) alongside Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku to battle against the Super Saiyan Rosé 3 Crimson-Masked Saiyan, after he bests the Warrior in Black. However, when Crimson attains his Super Saiyan Rosé Full Power form, Vegeta is quickly outmatched.

In the manga's version of events, Vegeta takes this form while training at the same time as Goku takes Ultra Instinct Sign in order to thoroughly overpower their Xeno counterparts' phantoms. Managing to gain mastery over the Evil Aura, Vegeta utilizes this form alongside Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku against Super Saiyan 3 Full Power Cumber, easily subduing him together.

Vegeta uses the form again during the Supreme Kai of Time Saga, with it he fights evenly against Evil Saiyan Turles, who has embraced Vegeta's philosophy of Saiyan pride.
