"Here I come!"
— Gogeta in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle

Rising Vortex (メトロアタック Metoroatakku, lit. "Meteor Attack") is a Rush Attack used by Gogeta.

Overview[]

After soaring up to his opponent, Gogeta delivers a hard uppercut, then dodges the opponent's counterattack and slams his right elbow into their chest before spinning on the spot and smashing them into the ground below with a downward kick.

Usage[]

In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, after blocking a hard punch from Super Saiyan C-type Broly, Super Saiyan Gogeta quickly executed the Rising Vortex, stunning Broly with the uppercut and shunting his retaliating punch to the side before delivering the elbow blow and spinning kick, sending Broly to the ground and allowing Gogeta to follow up with the Stardust Fall.

During the Supreme Kai of Time Saga, Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Xeno Gogeta uses the Rising Vortex to trade strikes with the empowered Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Broly, dealing the berserker a more decisive blow.

Video Game Appearances[]

Rising Vortex appears in Dokkan Battle as its own individual attack for Gogeta in his base form (under the name Meteor Attack) and as part of Stardust Fall for Gogeta in his Super Saiyan form.

It is named in FighterZ as one of Gogeta (SSGSS)'s Special Attacks, where it can follow up into Stardust Fall upon execution.

In Legends, it is named God Counter used by LL SSGSS Gogeta (DBL30-01S) as his Special Skill Arts card and his Cover Change.
