Genocide Breaker (ジェノサイドブレイカー Jenosaido Bureikā) is a Rush Attack used by Vegeta.

Overview[]

First, Vegeta charges at the opponent and kicks them up into the air. Then, he flies up in the air after the opponent and immobilizes them with a hand chop to their ribs. Finally, Vegeta puts his hand over the opponent's face and blasts them away with an energy wave, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

In Dragon Ball Z Kai, this attack is edited, with the kick being replaced by the punch Jeice receives after he fires his red barrage of energy spheres, followed by the rib crush and the energy wave to the face.

Vegeta kicks Jeice

Vegeta uses this attack to defeat the Ginyu Force member Jeice. While fighting Vegeta outside Frieza's Spaceship, Jeice's anger about Vegeta's improved strength gets the best of him and he is easily pummeled by the Saiyan prince. When Jeice bursts out of Frieza's spaceship, Vegeta flies up to Jeice and attacks him with the Genocide Breaker rush, killing him despite Jeice's pleas for mercy. When Goku (in Captain Ginyu's body thanks to the latter's Body Change technique) disapproves of Vegeta's killing of Jeice, Vegeta responds that Goku's conscience and emotions are a weakness.

Video Game Appearances[]

Genocide Breaker was named in the Raging Blast series, where it is one of Vegeta (Scouter)'s Super Attacks.

The energy blast of this attack is also used in Battle of Z, as a Super Attack for Vegeta (Scouter).

As the Super Attack of Saiyan Pride Vegeta/Goku in Dokkan Battle, it is named Massacre Breaker.

In the Xenoverse series, the hand portion was integrated into Vegeta's combos.
