Evil Spear (魔槍, Masō) is a rush attack used by Dabura.

Overview

Dabura throws the spear at his opponent, impaling them through the stomach.

Usage

Dabura uses this attack in an attempt to kill Majin Buu. However, the attack does not affect Buu, as he simply pulls out the spear and regenerates.

Video Game Appearances

The attack was named Evil Spear in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2, where the technique is one of Dabura's Super Attacks. The attack is named Demonic Spear in the Butōden series, where he rapidly throws several spears. When summoned, Dabura uses the attack in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2, rapidly throwing five spears per throw. Dabura also uses the attack as one of his heavy combos in Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, his sister Towa has a similar technique called Position Shift where she throws her spear-staff enveloped by dark magical energy, which causes Towa to switch places with any opponent hit by it. Demigra has an energy spear variant in which he creates spears made of magical energy that can be used to restrain opponents.
