Elite Shooting (エリートシューティング, Erītoshūtingu)[3][1][2] is an Continuous Energy Bullet variation of the Elite Beam used by Jaco.
Overview[]
The user draws their Galactic Police issue Ray Gun and fires Elite Beams randomly in 5 different directions, or in the same direction rapidly. Alternatively, a user can use their Ki to fire an energy beam in a similar fashion.
Usage[]
Jaco used this attack on Planet Potaufeu when Trunks was about to be absorbed by Duplicate Vegeta. Duplicate Vegeta created tentacles which approached Trunks, but Jaco used Elite Shooting to destroy the tentacles, saving Trunks.
Video Game Appearances[]
In Xenoverse, as part of the Resurrection ‘F’ Pack DLC, it is named Elite Shooting where it is one of Jaco's Super Skills. It can also be learned by the Future Warrior during Jaco's training as the Warrior's Master by completing his Master Training Quest 02: "What the heck...". When used by the Future Warrior, the Ray Gun is absent and the Warrior uses their Ki to fire the energy beams instead, though they still perform the attack as if the Ray Gun were present.
In Xenoverse 2, Elite Shooting returns as one of Jaco's Super Skills which the Future Warrior can learn by completing School Quest: "Lesson 2" of Jaco's Training. After firing, it leaves the user vulnerable for a short period. Unlike its depiction in Xenoverse, the Future Warrior actually uses a Ray Gun to perform this technique in Xenoverse 2. Jaco claims that Elite Shooting can make one's own power go up from using it, but the Future Warrior is doubtful of this claim and points this out to Jaco by asking how a Ray Gun can make one stronger, however Jaco claims that it's a top-super-elite-secret that only the Galactic Patrol knows.
