The user draws a standard Galactic Police issue Ray Gun and fires a beam of energy at the opponent. Alternatively a user can use their ki to fire an energy beam in a similar fashion.
- Elite Shooting - An Continuous Energy Bullet variation of Elite Beam where the user randomly fires Elite Beams in 5 different directions.
- Super Elite Beam Gun - A Ray Gun even stronger than Elite Beam Gun and normally used by Super Elite Galactic Patrollers. Appears as a Special Move in Dragon Ball Fusions
- Stun Gun - A electroshock weapon used by the Galactic Patrol to incapacitate targets with a non-lethal shock. The Stun Gun has the same design as the Elite Beam Gun and Super Elite Beam Gun. Used by Merus during the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga.
Video Game Appearances
Elite Beam first appears under the name Galactic Patrol Gun (銀河パトロールガン) in Dragon Ball Heroes, where it was added in Jaaku Mission 6 as the Super Attack of Jaco.
Elite Beam was named in Dragon Ball Xenoverse as one of Jaco's Super Skills. It can also be learned by the Future Warrior by taking on Jaco as a Master and completing his Training Qualification Mission. When used by the Future Warrior the Ray Gun is not present and simply uses their Ki to fire the beam instead, though the Warrior will still perform skill as if they were drawing the Ray Gun and firing it.
"Uses a ray gun to fire a beam in front of the character."
— Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Tutorial description
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Elite Beam returns as one of Jaco's Super Skills which the Future Warrior can learn by completing School Quest: "Lesson 1" of Jaco's Training. Unlike its depiction in Xenoverse, a small Ray Gun actually is used to fire the beam when it is used by the Future Warrior in Xenoverse 2.
