Elite Beam (エリートビーム, Erītobīmu)[3][4] is a technique used by Jaco.

Overview[]

The user draws a standard Galactic Police issue Ray Gun and fires a beam of energy at the opponent. Alternatively, a user can use their ki to fire an energy beam in a similar fashion.

Usage[]

In the Resurrection ‘F’ manga, Jaco used this technique to defeat some of Frieza's soldiers.

Film Appearances[]

In Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, Jaco uses this technique against Frieza's Soldiers.

Variations[]

  • Elite Shooting - An Continuous Energy Bullet variation.
  • Super Elite Beam Gun - A Ray Gun even stronger than Elite Beam Gun and normally used by Super Elite Galactic Patrollers. Appears as a Special Move in Dragon Ball Fusions

Video Game Appearances[]

In Dragon Ball Heroes, it is named Galactic Patrol Gun (銀河パトロールガン) where it was added in Jaaku Mission 6 as Jaco's Super Attack.

In Xenoverse, it is named Elite Beam and is one of Jaco's Super Skills. It can also be learned by the Future Warrior by taking on Jaco as a Master and completing his Training Qualification Mission. When used by the Future Warrior the Ray Gun is not present and simply uses their Ki to fire the beam instead, though the Warrior will still perform skill as if they were drawing the Ray Gun and firing it.

In Dragon Ball Fusions, it is named Elite Beam Gun and is used by several characters such as Tyber. It is treated as a stronger version of Beam Gun.

In Xenoverse 2, Elite Beam returns as one of Jaco's Super Skills which the Future Warrior can learn by completing School Quest: "Lesson 1" of Jaco's Training. Unlike its depiction in Xenoverse, a small Ray Gun actually is used to fire the beam when it is used by the Future Warrior.
