Dragon Ball Z: Movie Overview Special is a very rare TV Special that is part of the Dragon Ball Z series of anime. The special is believed to have been aired on Fuji Televison sometime after July 11, 1992 (the release date of Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!), between episodes 148 and 160.

This film is often confused with the Dragon Ball Z special, Looking Back at it All: The Dragon Ball Z Year-End Show!.

Summary

Goku and Gohan in the streets of Orange Star City

The setting of Dragon Ball Z: Movie Overview Special is identical to that of the movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!, Orange Star City, except Goku and Gohan appear in the streets wearing sharp tuxedos. In fact, it is noted by Goku himself, that the events taking place in this special are after that of said movie.

In this film, the two Saiyans discuss the first three movies of Dragon Ball (Curse of the Blood Rubies, Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle, and Mystical Adventure) and the first six of Dragon Ball Z (Dead Zone, The World's Strongest, The Tree of Might, Lord Slug, Cooler's Revenge, The Return of Cooler, and Super Android 13!).

In the end, Goku powers up and changes into his normal outfit. Gohan tries to like his father, but with no success.

Continuity

It is noted by Goku that the events taking place in this special are after that of the movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!.
