Dragon Ball Super Divers (ドラゴンボールスーパーダイバーズ Doragon Bōru Sūpā Daibāzu) is an upcoming Japanese arcade game developed by Dimps as the seventh Dragon Ball Z: Data Carddass game. The game was first announced on May 9, 2024, where it will replace Dragon Ball Heroes. However, in an interview with Victory Uchida, there would be plans for a separate "Heroes Mode" that would allow players to use their cards and their avatar while still migrating to the new arcade game.[1][2][3] The game released on November 7, 2024, with Heroes Mode being implemented on November 11 of the same year.[4]
A one-shot manga chapter by Toyotarou released to coincide with the pending release of the game, followed by a full on manga series by Yuuji Kasai.[5][6]

Reception[]
The game has received mixed to negative reviews that stem from how it has managed to present itself as appealing to its audience. While the usage of cards, the new battle system, and unique twist on action abilities did manage to bring new players to its ranks, it has failed to garner a popular audience like how Dragon Ball Heroes had previously managed to attain. The most likely reason is due to its lack of promotional trailers, lack of what-if content, and decreasing number of players. In fact, several players would actually only play Super Divers just to use the Heroes Mode and re-experience the predecessor rather than the actual game itself. It was soon discovered that some arcades in Japan were even taking down the game, likely stemming from these reasons.[7]
