"Dodoria's Terrifying Chase! A Truth Revealed to Vegeta!" (猛追ドドリアの恐怖！ベジータに明かす真実 Mōtsui Dodoria no Kyōfu! Bejīta ni Akasu Shinjitsu, lit. Dodoria in Terrifying Hot Pursuit! Vegeta Learns the Truth) is the twenty-second overall episode in the Dragon Ball Z Kai series. This episode first aired in Japan on September 6, 2009. Its original American airdate was June 23, 2010.
Summary
Gohan and Krillin saving Dende from Dodoria
Krillin and Gohan save a young Namekian boy named Dende from Dodoria's attack. The three fly away and manage to hide from the pursuing Dodoria thanks to Krillin's Solar Flare. Dodoria is soon after attacked by Vegeta.
The group arrives at the cave where Bulma is
The two fight briefly. Dodoria begs for his life, offering to tell Vegeta the true story of his home planet's destruction. Vegeta releases Dodoria from his grip, and Dodoria reveals that it was Frieza who destroyed Planet Vegeta out of fear from the Saiyan race's potential. Vegeta is furious at being lied to and being used by Frieza, and kills the fleeing Dodoria.
