Then Goten and Trunks arrives to stop them, although the Dictator army got an initial advantage due their numerical superiority, the boys turn into their Super Saiyan forms and the battle was put on equal terms. Trunks and Goten got problems to defeat them, but when both sensed Goku and Vegeta fusing themselves, they decided to do the same and became Gotenks. Trivia[]

  • The Dictator Army is a parody of the real-life Nazi German Army, Wehrmacht, during the World War II, as well The Dictator is a parody of their leader, Adolf Hitler. The army's insignia is an X, and not Hitler's familiar Hakenkreuz, also known as swastika (卐). While obviously changed to avoid offending people, this may also be a reference to the Charlie Chaplin film The Great Dictator, in which Chaplin plays Adenoid Hynkel, a character who is a parody of Hitler and who uses a two X insignia.
    • This is the second faction of the franchise to be an army that parodies European totalitarism, the first one being the Red Ribbon Army. However, unlike the last one, this does not appear in the original manga of Akira Toriyama.
  • Their appearance was omitted in the German, Hebrew, and French versions of Fusion Reborn. This is because of strict laws in both Germany, France, and former Soviet-bloc nations that prohibit the reproduction of Nazi emblems and references as well as to avoid insulting Israelis and Holocaust survivors in World War II. In the Polish]] and Castilian Spanish versions, despite The Dictator appearance was cut, the battle of the army was still present.
