The Demon Invader Saga (魔の侵略者編 Ma no Shinryakusha Hen, lit. "Demon Invader Arc") is the ninth original and final saga of Dragon Ball Heroes.
It continues on from where the Supreme Kai of Time Saga of Super Dragon Ball Heroes left off.
It is composed of several sub-stories:
- Jet-Black Ambition (漆黒の野望 Shikkoku no Yabō)
- Confrontation Between Justice and Evil (正義と邪悪の対峙 Seigi to Jāku no Taiji)
- Fierce Battle! Ozotto's Mansion (激闘！オゾットの館 Gekitō! Ozotto no Yakata)
- Fist of the Strongest (最強の拳 Saikyō no Kobushi)
Plot[]
Majin Ozotto on King Kai's Planet
Immediately following the conclusion to the Super Space-Time Tournament, Chronoa is about to send Goku and his friends back to their own time, but notices that their Earth is missing following an unnoticed meteor collision. They travel to King Kai's Planet to get to the bottom of it, but Goku notices that King Kai's energy is missing. Majin Ozotto arrives from King Kai's house and confirms that he ate both him and the entire Earth, forcing Goku, Vegeta, and Xeno Trunks to power up to their god forms. Noticing the Supreme Kai of Time, he tries to attack her, only to be blocked by Goku's own attack.
Goku, Vegeta and Xeno Trunks face Ozotto
Ozotto would soon take down both Piccolo and Gohan before absorbing them altogether, forcing the other 3 Saiyans to attack him head-on. He easily blocks their attacks before being swung around and thrown by Goku, leaving his tail detached. It would soon reform thanks to absorbing Majin Buu's powers before Androids 17 and 18 could be heard. However, it's revealed that not only can Ozotto absorb their powers, but also their physical bodies and voices as well. As he absorbs them into himself again, he begins to power up massively, forcing Chronoa and the others to retreat to the Time Nest.
Ozotto about to absorb Old Kai
On the Sacred World of the Kai, another clone of Ozotto along with Shin and Kibito who have since been absorbed by him, approach Old Kai so that he can acquire his powers. Ozotto transforms into Baby Vegeta just as Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta appear in their Super Saiyan 4 state and believing it to be the real Baby, power up into Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker to apprehend him. They attack Ozotto until he reverts back to his original appearance and introduces himself.
The Ozotto clones resembling Shin and Kibito join the other Ozotto's side and transform into Frieza and Cell who then subsequently attack the Saiyans while the other Ozotto turns his attention to Old Kai once more but soon enough Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta overpower and defeat the clones of Ozotto.
Meanwhile, Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks and Chronoa travel to New Namek to track down Ozotto only to find that all the Namekians have been eaten as well. They locate Ozotto just as he plans to eat the life force of the entire planet. Now back to full strength the three Saiyans transform to face off against him.
The invitational card left by Ozotto
Both on the Sacred World of the Kai and New Namek, Ozotto explains that he has separate bodies scattered all over the universes hunting for powerful individuals to absorb and thus his power is divided between them all. For a temporary period, Ozotto offers to bring all his clones together so that he can acquire his full power and invites both groups to Ozotto's Palace. Ozotto gives each party a card so they can take him up on his offer and have the chance to rescue their friends.

Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks arrive outside the Palace and request that the accompanying Chronoa wait outside. She reluctantly agrees and hands Goku something before they head off with Goku swearing that he will defeat Majin Ozotto. Inside the palace, Ozotto greets the group and explains to them that many of the beings that he has absorbed have been locked inside and in order to save them they will have to head into the five rooms lying in front of them where they will have to face and defeat one of his clones. With no other choice than to play Ozotto's game, Goku and the others each enter one of the five rooms.
Ultra Instinct Sign Goku
After Goku enters the room, he is personally greeted by one of the Ozotto clones waiting for him and Goku soon transforms into Ultra Instinct Sign ready to face him. Ozotto unleashes a flurry of attacks against the Saiyan that Goku easily manages to avoid, even after transforming into the likes of Turles and Bojack though manages to cut his cheek upon transforming into Meta-Cooler. Ozotto returns to his original form as he vows to eat everyone though Goku tells him that he is underestimating his opponents, especially Vegeta.

Meanwhile, Vegeta battles another Ozotto clone though is unable to deal any significant damage. Ozotto transforms into Janemba and the backdrop of the room changes to match the appearance of Hell. With his unique teleportation ability, Janemba is able to land a blast directly on Vegeta that knocks him down. Believing that he has won, Janemba unleashes a volley of blasts before beginning to walk away. However, Vegeta returns to his feet and becomes a Super Saiyan God SS Evolved, proceeding to kick Janemba into the air before striking him back down to the ground. Before he can recover, Vegeta fires off a Final Flash that finishes him off.
Gohan breaks free
Elsewhere, Gohan awakens, still trapped and is approached by Ozotto. After asking where he is, Ozotto explains that he is in fact inside of Ozotto himself. Explaining that he has absorbed him along with countless others, he reveals that Goten, Trunks and Videl are present also and from a twisted desire to see Gohan's true power, Ozotto begins hurting the three despite them being unconscious. This causes Gohan to enters into his Ultimate state where he promptly breaks free and attacks Ozotto. Gohan continues his attack, proving able to gain the upper hand when Goku and Vegeta suddenly arrive. The distraction gives Ozotto the chance to absorb Gohan again.
Vegito uses Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken
With Ozotto's power increasing further and Goku and Vegeta still worn out from their latest battle, Vegeta hands over the Potara given to him earlier by Chronoa and the pair fuse into Vegito. Transforming into a Super Saiyan Blue, Vegito overpowers Ozotto who is unable to land a single blow. Vegito increases his strength using the Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken and quickly finishes off Ozotto using his Spirit Blade, freeing Gohan in the process. The two then defuse and check up on Gohan who informs the two that they are still inside Ozotto.
Hearts and Lagss inside of Ozotto
As the terrain changes shape and tentacle like appendages begin to snare Goku and Vegeta, they are suddenly saved by Lagss who is joined by Hearts. After Lagss had previously been absorbed by Ozotto back on Earth, Hearts had intentionally allowed himself to be absorbed as well in order to rescue his friend. After freeing the rest of their friends, Hearts surmises that the inside of Ozotto's body is in fact a separate space-time dimension and concludes that a powerful energy will be required in order to rip a hole in it so that everyone can escape. Vegeta comes up with a plan and heads off in a remote location where he unleashes his Full Power Final Explosion technique that successfully opens a hole in the space-time though Vegeta falls unconscious in the process. Goku approaches and finds an unconscious Vegeta, which enrages him and allows him to transform into Perfected Ultra Instinct. He then escapes through the hole, taking Vegeta along with him and Hearts following suit, having brought all of Goku's friends along.
More Ozotto clones approach
Meanwhile, Xeno Goku having defeated his own Ozotto clone opponent is contacted by Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks who informs him that he is unable to get into contact with Chronoa and so the three decide to head back to the entrance of Ozotto's Palace to find her. The palace then transforms into a distorted version of Ozotto's body as the three notice the shape of the mansion interior has changed. More Ozotto clones under the guise of Janemba, Frieza, Cell, Bojack, Baby, Turles and Meta-Cooler then approach the trio but they prevail over them.

Shortly afterwards, the three stumble across Ozotto just before he absorbs Chronoa in order to take her powers as the Supreme Kai of Time for himself. Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks battle a horde of Ozotto clones who keep coming one after the other. Realising that it is a futile effort, Xeno Goku charges toward the lead Ozotto who transforms into Chronoa. Avoiding his attacks, he reaches the egg containing Chronoa and frees her, causing Ozotto to lose her power.
The final battle against Ozotto
Back outside, Ultra Instinct Goku prepares to face the giant transformed Majin Ozotto. Ozotto is in awe of Goku's power and eagerly wishes to make it his own as he swats away at Goku who easily avoids the blow. When Ozotto summons more of his clones, Goku easily takes down the whole horde, leaving just the transformed Ozotto left standing. In a panic, Ozotto offers to share some of his obtained power with Goku but he turns him down. Goku charges in one last time using his mighty Silver Dragon Fist technique that eradicates Ozotto.
Aeos restores the Space-Time to how it was before
The members of the Time Patrol now back outside ask Goku if he defeated Ozotto just as the tired Saiyan collapses to the ground from exhaustion. Xeno Trunks looks around and finds Chronoa sleeping but unharmed as Aeos also makes an appearance. The last remainder of Ozotto, distraught at how he could have been defeated, tries to make an escape but Aeos obtains him and places him in one of her containers, vowing to keep an eye on him so that he doesn't do anything bad again. Aeos brings forth Super Shenron and has him restore the Space-Time back to the way it was before Ozotto intervened.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
- In the anime, Ozotto is not seen confronting Hearts.
- In the manga, Ozotto appears under the guise of King Kai. In the anime, he just appears as himself.
- In the anime, Android 13, 14 and 15 did not appear unlike in the manga where they appeared as more Ozotto clones.
- In the manga, Ozotto disappears after Goku blasts him with a Kamehameha. In the anime, Goku and the others are forced to retreat after Ozotto proves to be too powerful for them.
- In the anime, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta arrived together and both fought Baby Vegeta at the same time. In the manga, Xeno Goku arrived first and fought Baby Vegeta alone.
- In the anime, Goku, Vegeta and Xeno Trunks did not battle against any Ozotto clones on New Namek.
- In the anime, Goku faces off against an Ozotto who transforms into Turles, Bojack and Meta-Cooler. In the manga, Ozotto transforms into Pikkon, Yamcha, Android 17 and Krillin.
- Vegeta uses the Super Saiyan God SS Evolved state against Ozotto (Super Janemba) in the anime. In the manga he uses the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk Controlled) state.
- In the manga, Vegeta obtains the Potara from the absorbed Old Kai. In the anime, Goku was given the Potara by Chronoa.
- The fight between Vegito and Ozotto was considerably more one sided in the anime.
- In the anime, the battle with the Chronoa clone was much more brief with Xeno Goku simply freeing the real Chronoa from her egg container. In the manga, Xeno Trunks used the Key Sword whilst Xeno Gohan, Xeno Goten and Xeno Pan all appeared to assist in the battle.

- Starting from the first episode, the anime switched to a CGI animation style using in-game models and is officially considered a "Promotional CG Movie" instead of a "Promotional Anime", due to the original animation team for the series going on break.
- However, a "Promotional CG Movie" used the Super Dragon Ball Heroes' cutscenes' dialogues.
