Plot[]

Demon Goddess Towa[]

Mechikabura 5

Mechikabura is revived

Towa uses energy stolen from strong people in order to release Mechikabura from the Crack of Time, however his body is old and he cannot move well. Towa tells him to use the Dark Dragon Balls to wish for youth so that he can take revenge on Chronoa, however the Dragon Balls scatter. Mechikabura notices one of them as it heads away, crossing space-time. Towa decides to go and get it but Mechikabura tells her to wait, deciding to grant her Demon God powers first.

Xeno Frieza1

Xeno Frieza after defeating Super Saiyan Goku

It is soon apparent that a Dark Dragon Ball ended up on Namek in Age 762 (during the climax of the Battle of Namek). The ball having fused with the tyrant Xeno Frieza, empowering him to the point that he could overwhelm the newly transformed Super Saiyan Goku - even without using his 100% Full Power. The Time Patrol realize that this is altering history for the worst, and so Xeno Trunks and Xeno Goku head back to deal with the problem. Xeno Goku teams up with his past self and the two attack the now full power Xeno Frieza together, as Xeno Frieza holds the two Kamehameha back, Xeno Trunks quickly slices him in half and he loses the Dark Dragon Ball, restoring history to normal as Super Saiyan Goku defeats the non-Dark Dragon Ball Xeno Frieza.

However, Demon God Towa manages to collect the Dark Dragon Ball - though Mira is killed by Xeno Trunks during the process - and brings it back to the Demon Realm with her, where she meets Mechikabura, who reveals that he has summoned more Demon Gods to aid in the search for the Dark Dragon Balls.

Cell X[]

Chronoa discovers two changes in history and decides to split into two groups, she goes with Xeno Goku, and Xeno Trunks goes with a new helper - who turns out to be Xeno Vegeta. Xeno Vegeta tells Xeno Trunks that he will prove he is the strongest, not Xeno Goku. Xeno Vegeta wants to get going immediately, but Chronoa tells him that they all must pose first, Xeno Vegeta ignores and tells her that they should just get going.

Xeno Vegeta vs Dark DB Cell

Xeno Vegeta easily beats Xeno Cell

Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks arrive back in time, and Xeno Vegeta gives Xeno Trunks a device from Bulma that can locate the Dark Dragon Balls. The device leads them to the Cell Games arena, where they see the Z Fighters defeated by Xeno Cell, who has a Dark Dragon Ball. Xeno Vegeta easily beats down Xeno Cell and then destroys most of his body with a Final Flash, shocking Xeno Trunks with his strength. Xeno Vegeta prepares to finish Xeno Cell but is suddenly attacked by Demon God Gravy before he has the chance. Xeno Trunks catches him as he is sent flying and then places the Potara Earrings he obtained from Chronoa onto himself and the unconscious Xeno Vegeta, fusing the two into Xeno Vegeks. At the same time Gravy and Putine discuss how great their Demon God power is.

Xeno Vegeks suddenly appears, striking Gravy and announcing his identity, Gravy attempts to attack again but he is easily knocked down by Xeno Vegeks, angering him. Putine states that they must take them down, as they may get in the way in the future. However both parties are surprised as Xeno Cell begins to undergo a Dark Evolution from Putine's magic.

Cell-X SDBH

Cell-X

Xeno Cell using the power of Dark Evolution transforms into Cell-X, a hulking giant of a being with multiple Spider-like legs that dwarves Xeno Vegeks in size. Whilst Xeno Vegeks is focused on Cell-X, Gravy takes the opportunity to hit Xeno Vegeks from behind, knocking him to the ground. Happy with catching Xeno Vegeks off guard, he too is then caught from behind by an attack from Cell-X who swiped him to the ground, Xeno Vegeks having quickly recovered, suddenly attacks Gravy and they battle briefly before Xeno Vegeks is grabbed by Cell-X and both he and Gravy are crushed as the weight of Cell-X comes crashing down on them both.

DDRMI2

Xeno Goku facing Xeno Majin Buu

With both injured and annoyed at Cell-X getting in the way of their battle, they briefly put aside their fight and attack him in unison with the resulting attack wiping out Cell-X for good. Suddenly Xeno Vegeks diffuses leaving Xeno Vegeta and Trunks separated once again. As Gravy goes in for the finish on the two Saiyans they are suddenly teleported away by Chronoa's magic as Gravy wonders where they went.

Meanwhile, a battered and bruised Xeno Goku stands off against Xeno Majin Buu with numerous beings and a spaceship surrounding them.

Dark Demon God Buu[]

Xeno Dabura 01

Xeno Majin Buu absorbs Demon God Xeno Dabura

Xeno Goku faces off against Xeno Majin Buu having now merged with the Three-Star Dark Dragon Ball in battle. As the Demon Realm Soldiers surround them on all sides, Demon God Xeno Dabura descends onto the battlefield and soon attacks Xeno Majin Buu with his objective to steal the dark Dragon Ball from him. Withdrawing a sword he slices Xeno Majin Buu in half before turning his attention towards Xeno Goku who rushes in to attack him. However whilst Xeno Dabura is preoccupied with Xeno Goku, Xeno Majin Buu takes Xeno Dabura by surprise and absorbs him, transforming him into the more powerful Demon God Buu.

SDBH5-1

Xeno Vegito fights with Demon God Xeno Majin Buu

The Demon Realm Soldiers rush at the newly formed Xeno Majin Buu but they along with their ships are quickly eradicated by Xeno Majin Buu before he turns his attention on Xeno Goku. He attacks Xeno Goku and appears to have the upper hand. Chronoa appears on the battlefield having transported both Xeno Trunks and Xeno Vegeta along following their battle with Xeno Cell and Gravy. Xeno Trunks intercepts a blow from Xeno Majin Buu that was meant for Xeno Goku then turns Super Saiyan in an attempt to hold buy the others some time. Chronoa removes her Potara earrings and gives them to Xeno Goku and the reluctant Xeno Vegeta which transforms them into Xeno Vegito.

SDBH5-2

Chamel blocks Xeno Vegito's Spirit Sword

Xeno Vegito immediately steps in between the battle involving Xeno Majin Buu and Xeno Trunks. Xeno Vegito and the empowered Xeno Majin Buu begin fighting where they prove to be a match for each other, exchanging blows on both sides. Xeno Vegito fires his Spirit Sword directly at Xeno Majin Buu but before it reaches him the attack is blocked by the sudden appearance of Chamel.

Meanwhile, in another dimension, Xeno Turles who has merged with the Four-Star Dark Dragon Ball encounters Salsa who has shown up alongside Mechikabura and the Dark-Masked King in order to recover his Dark Dragon Ball.

Advent of Mechikabura[]

SDBH6-1

Xeno Turles' Dark Evolution

On the Sacred World of the Kai, the sudden appearance of a mysterious person has caused confusion. Irritated by the interference Xeno Majin Buu attacks him. At the Tree of Might, Mechikabura alongside Salsa and the Dark-Masked King stand opposite of Xeno Turles who has merged with the Four-Star Dark Dragon Ball and plan to retrieve it for their own purposes. On Mechikabura's order the Dark-Masked King steps forward and attacks Xeno Turles, knocking him backward into the Tree where he then eats a piece of its fruit and gains a significant boost in power from it and causes him to undergo a Dark Evolution transformation.

SDBH6-2

Salsa attacks Xeno Turles

Digging his hand into the ground he tosses a large rock towards Mechikabura and Salsa with the latter using his sword to cut the rock into pieces. He gets behind Xeno Turles and lands a kick to the nape of his neck but Xeno Turles remains unharmed much to Salsa's surprise. Xeno Turles kicks him back towards Mechikabura who asks Salsa what he thinks of his opponent to which Salsa tells him that Xeno Turles's strength is on par with or even greater than that of a Demon God. Impressed Mechikabura says that once all seven of the Dark Dragon Balls are recovered it will be enough to fully restore him. Xeno Turles charges towards the pair but Mechikabura raises his hand and fires a Ki blast that levels the surrounding area, destroying both the Tree of Might and presumably Xeno Turles along with it. Recovering the Four-Star Dark Dragon Ball he turns and begins to leave, their mission a success but not before telling the Dark-Masked King that the power he put forth was not good enough.

SDBH6-3

Chamel appears before the others

Back at the Sacred World of the Kai, Xeno Vegito has now diffused back into Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. Chronoa starts to panic over Xeno Majin Buu and the other warrior having escaped and Xeno Goku tells them he can no longer feel their ki and presumes that they are no longer in that time period.

The foe suddenly appears before them all, unscathed from the earlier attack from Xeno Majin Buu and Xeno Trunks readies himself for an attack but Chronoa stops him and asks what his scheme is. The foe says that there is no scheme and that they are useful to have around, saying he doesn't expect or need their trust before hinting that Hell is becoming agitated.

Chronoa uses a spell to transfer Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta's injuries on to herself so that they along with Chamel can continue their pursuit of Xeno Majin Buu who has fled to Hell.

Xeno Janemba[]

In a version of Age 774, Towa who has appeared in Hell along with the Grim Reaper Shroom to retrieve the Five-Star Dark Dragon Ball from Xeno Janemba easily defeats that timelines Goku.

Xeno Janemba 15

Xeno Janemba powers up in a new form

Shroom calls upon a Grim Reaper Soldier who appears from a portal in the ground and attacks Xeno Janemba. When Xeno Janemba attempts to retaliate with a kick, the soldier grabs a hold of his leg. Shroom then uses his Scythe to cut through the two of them in one swipe. Xeno Janemba however rematerializes gaining more power than before due to the Dark Dragon Ball. This time, Shroom goes in for the attack personally and while at first Xeno Janemba is able to put up a decent fight he is ultimately cut in half again and the Dark Dragon Ball falls to the ground.

However, before Towa can retrieve the ball, Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta, and Chamel show up in front of them. Chamel vows to destroy Towa and Shroom with Towa commenting that Chamel had betrayed them after all. Chamel tells Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta to attack Shroom while he deals with Towa and they all begin to battle.

DBH77

Super Xeno Gogeta

Suddenly the Dark Demon God Xeno Majin Buu who still has the Three-Star Dark Dragon Ball merged appears and using a detached part of his body absorbs Xeno Janemba to undergo another transformation.

Meanwhile, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta struggle against Shroom as they have little strength after having their souls mowed, one of Shroom's special abilities.

With little other choice, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta use the Fusion Dance to become Xeno Gogeta and transform into a Super Saiyan before urging Shroom to fight him again.

Meanwhile, at the Time Nest, Chronoa having recovered from her injuries and having a good rest claims that she now has the energy back that is needed to summon a new helper.

Super Namekian[]

SDBH75

Xeno Slug towers over Gohan and Xeno Trunks

Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks travel back through time in order to find the source of the disturbance that has altered the timeline, the Dark Dragon Ball. They are suddenly attacked from behind by Xeno Slug who having used his Great Namekian form has grown to the size of a building. Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks narrowly avoid the blast and notice that Xeno Slug has merged with the Six-Star Dark Dragon Ball. Xeno Gohan asks Xeno Trunks to stand back and let him take on Xeno Slug himself and begins whistling which harms Xeno Slug due to his highly sensitive hearing.

JanembaBuu

Dark Demon God Xeno Majin Buu appears

Open to attack, Xeno Trunks prepares an attack in order to retrieve the Dark Dragon Ball but before he can, numerous portals open up around Xeno Slug. The Dark Demon God Xeno Majin Buu having recently absorbed Xeno Janemba begins attacking Xeno Slug. As Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks comment on the surprise appearance of Xeno Majin Buu, they are joined by another, Towa who has also come to retrieve the Dark Dragon Ball for herself having already obtained two others just recently. Chamel having followed Towa also appears and sides with Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks.

Gohanks2

Xeno Gohanks

Towa acknowledging the difficulty of the situation she is in, uses her magic to cause Xeno Slug to undergo a Dark Evolution causing his size to multiply even further. Towa, happy with how events are now playing out voices that she is happy that she studied Putine's powers in order to be able to control darkness and prepares herself to retrieve the Dark Dragon Balls from Xeno Slug and Xeno Majin Buu whilst also recovering her brother Xeno Dabura. Xeno Slug attacks Xeno Gohan, Xeno Trunks, and Chamel but the attack does no damage thanks to Chamel creating a protective barrier in the nick of time. Xeno Gohan suggests that Xeno Trunks merge with him to which he agrees and the two perform the Fusion Dance to become Xeno Gohanks who immediately goes on the offensive due to them only having 30 minutes before they defuse. However, Xeno Gohanks is unable to do any damage to Xeno Slug due to his overwhelming size.

SDBH71

Xeno Dabura freed from Xeno Majin Buu

Meanwhile, Towa battles Xeno Majin Buu until she is suddenly attacked from below by Chamel. The attack causes Towa to drop her guard and Xeno Majin Buu goes in for the kill but is intercepted by the appearance of Salsa. Towa asks Salsa why he has shown up to which he responds that he has no honor left after shaming Mechikabura. Salsa says that his power as a Demon God has adapted to his body better than it had before and with his new found might, eradicates the bodies of Xeno Majin Buu and Xeno Slug with his Trick of Tornado which causes the Dark Dragon Balls to become loose and Xeno Dabura to return. Towa recovers the Dark Dragon Balls and her brother and then teleports away much to Chamel's frustration.

In the Demon Realm, Gravy and Putine report to Mechikabura that Towa and the others have successfully recovered three of the Dark Dragon Balls and Xeno Dabura. Pleased, Mechikabura tells them to inform Towa to see him when she returns and to also bring a mask which is used to be used for their chained prisoner, Dark Broly who has merged with the Seven-Star Dark Dragon Ball.

In Hell, the battle between Super Saiyan Xeno Gogeta and Demon God Shroom rages on with neither having a clear advantage. When a dark portal opens up above the two, the time limit for Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta's fusion runs out. When Xeno Goku flies off to head through the portal, Shroom attempts to stop him but Xeno Vegeta intervenes by grabbing his scythe, allowing Xeno Goku to get away while Xeno Vegeta faces off against Shroom alone.

Dark Broly[]

Dark Broly

In the Demon Realm, Towa and Xeno Paragus attempt to defend themselves from an out of control masked Dark Broly who is using the Super Saiyan 4 transformation and also merged with the Seven Star Dark Dragon Ball but find themselves completely outmatched. Meanwhile Mechikabura watches on in amusement from above on his throne with Xeno King Vegeta, Gravy, Putine, and Salsa standing alongside him. Xeno Goku then appears, having come through the other side of the portal and upon seeing him, Dark Broly goes into a fit of rage and attacks Xeno Goku immediately, Towa and Xeno Paragus take the opportunity to attack Dark Broly but Xeno Paragus is punched hard, knocking him through the same portal that Goku travelled through. Dark Broly then turns his sights once again on Goku knocking him to the ground hard with a punch, Towa fires a blast at him from out of her staff which hits him in the back.

Mira Final Form 18

Mira after absorbing Towa

Dark Broly turns around and hits Towa hard enough to send her crashing into a nearby wall where she then falls out of her Demon God form and back into her Base form. Suddenly Mira in his Berserk form appears having also travelled through a dark portal which shocks both Salsa and Putine who thought that he had been killed earlier by Xeno Trunks. Mira turns to face the now unconscious Towa and absorbs her which allows him to undergo a new and more powerful transformation and when Dark Broly rushes in to attack him, Mira is easily able to stop his attack with his palm.

Mira Broly Xeno Goku

Xeno Goku, Dark Broly, and Mira about to fight

Seeing the ongoing battle between the two, Xeno Goku powers up into his Super Saiyan 4 state as well and heads into battle as all three fighters battle it out against one another at the same time. The three prove to all be on par with each other and end the battle each with a large beam of energy causing a huge explosion that knocks out Xeno Goku and Dark Broly, causing his Dark Dragon Ball to fall out of his chest. Mira is the only one left standing, battered and bruised, now having released Towa from his body, he now holds both her and the Dark Dragon Ball in his arms.

Mechikabura Revival[]

Xeno Bardock arrives on an asteroid and sees his broken Time Breaker mask on the ground, noting he came because he sensed something and wonders if Towa and Mira are up to something again.

Xeno Paragus, who had been flung through a wormhole by Dark Broly, arrives and is encountered by the Dark-Masked King who had been sent to recover him, however Xeno Paragus's Time Breaker eyepatch had broken and so he was no longer under control, he fights back against the Dark-Masked King but is easily overwhelmed.

X12~2

Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Bardock

Xeno Bardock saves Xeno Paragus and calls the Dark-Masked King weak for not having broken out of the mind control like Xeno Bardock had in the past. However the masked king suddenly does, revealing that he is Xeno King Vegeta and that he had allowed himself to be mind controlled in order to gain the power and now he has gained control of the darkness. He then reveals his intentions to go back in time to before the Genocide of the Saiyans to eliminate Frieza and Beerus and asks Xeno Bardock and Xeno Paragus to rejoin him.

Xeno Bardock acknowledges the difference in strength between the two of them but still he refuses, finding the notion of changing history worthless and that they must accept the past. He picks up his broken mask, putting it back on in order to become stronger due to the darkness but this time he is able to resist and uses the power as his own to transform into a Super Saiyan 3. As they fight, Xeno Paragus stabs Xeno King Vegeta in the side, but is in turn obliterated by the Saiyan king.

Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Bardock and Xeno King Vegeta then fire two huge energy waves at each other creating a mighty explosion. Meanwhile, in the Demon Realm, the Dark Dragon Balls have all been gathered and Mechikabura is preparing for his wish.

In Hell, Xeno Vegeta continues his battle against the Demon God, Shroom. As Shroom goes in to finish off the worn out Xeno Vegeta, he is suddenly attacked by Xeno Gotenks who appears through a dark portal followed by Chronoa, Chamel, and Xeno Gohan. Outnumbered, Shroom retreats through the same portal back to the Demon Realm. Chronoa uses her magic abilities to temporarily rewind Vegeta's injuries and meanwhile notices that the dark portal is beginning to close and asks Chamel to use his magic to open it back up so they can enter through it.

SDBH102

Xeno Vegeta turns into a Super Saiyan 4

In the Demon Realm, Mechikabura thanks his subordinates, Gravy, Putine, Towa, Salsa, Shroom, Mira, Xeno Dabura, and his Demon Realm Soldiers for having finally gathered together all seven of the Dark Dragon Balls and summons the Dragon known as Dark Shenron. The others soon sense a large formation of Ki and realize that the Time Patrol, now also with Xeno Goku, have come to the Demon Realm. Not wanting the Time Patrol to intervene, the soldiers swarm the group but the combination of Xeno Gotenks and Xeno Vegeta, no longer restricted from using Super Saiyan 4 due to their location in Demon Realm, quickly overwhelm their forces. Chamel soon steps in, transforming into his Demon God form and uses his magic to suck all the soldiers in through a portal and to an unknown location on the other side.

Most of the forces are wiped out but Towa says it's too late anyway as Dark Shenron suddenly emerges and Mechikabura asks the Dragon to give him the strength that he once had in his peak. However Dark Shenron states that due to Mechikabura having such a large quantity of power, it will take him some time to restore it all. Chronoa spotting the Dragon urges the rest of the Time Patrol to hurry and stop them before the wish is granted.

The members of Chronoa's Time Patrol face off against Mechikabura's Demon God subordinates as Chronoa attempts to head directly to Mechikabura and Dark Shenron but she is halted by Xeno Dabura who gets in her way. Xeno Gotenks suddenly appears and hits Xeno Dabura but then immediately defuses back into Xeno Goten and Xeno Trunks, their time having run out. Xeno Goten holds off Xeno Dabura as he tells Xeno Trunks to go on ahead with Chronoa.

SDBH103

Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta

Meanwhile, Xeno Vegeta battles Gravy but finds that his previous injuries have already returned. Xeno Goku too, struggles due to being low on energy from his recent battle with Mira and Dark Broly and so with little other choice the two fuse into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta thanks to the help of Chamel buying them time by trapping their adversaries in barriers. Chamel realizes his secret plan to steal the Dark Dragon Balls has now ended in failure but hopes for the Time Patrol to stop Mechikabura from reaching his previous power.

Chronoa, due to help from Xeno Trunks is able to reach Mechikabura who has now regressed in age, back to his youth and has gained back his previous power. In response, Chronoa releases all the power that she has collected and undergoes a new transformation and uses her powers to transport both herself and Mechikabura out of the flow of time entirely.

SDBH106

Demigra returns

Suddenly the other members of the Time Patrol are teleported back to the Time Nest, confused as to what had just happened. Xeno Trunks notices that the Demon Realm in it's entirety has disappeared after looking at one of the time scrolls. In another location, Chamel is shown kneeling before Demigra who says that it is time for them to make their move. Back at the Time Nest, Xeno Trunks hands over time crystals to the others that had been given to him at an earlier time by Chronoa and explains that they are needed in order to visit other eras. The Time Patrol refuse the idea and then vow to go and save Chronoa.

Game Version[]

Towa uses the energy gathered from altering time to unleash Mechikabura, the former King of the Demon Realm who had been sealed in the Crack of Time. To allow Mechikabura to regain his youth, Towa brainwashes Dende into creating the Dark Dragon Balls, however they scatter through time and space before she can use them. Each Dark Dragon Ball embeds itself inside the body of a powerful villain, greatly increasing their strength. Detecting the anomalies caused by the Dark Dragon Balls' appearance, Chronoa assembles the Time Patrol to protect history.

Demon Goddess Towa[]

The Time Patrol arrive on a version of Earth, which is being invaded by Demon Realm forces. Fighting their way through the Demon Realm's soldiers, they encounter Towa, who has been transformed into a Demon Goddess by Mechikabura. They manage to hold their own against her, and she retreats. The Time Patrol take a brief break to train, before pursuing Towa.

The group encounter Zarbon and Dodoria, who Xeno Trunks notes have been corrupted by dark power. Continuing further they encounter Xeno Frieza, who fights them with the help of his henchmen and Towa. They manage to kill Frieza, and continue pursuing Towa. She battles the Time Patrol alongside Mira and a group of soldiers, but the Time Patrol win the battle and she escapes with Xeno Frieza's Dark Dragon Ball.

Cell X[]

Sensing a foreboding presence in Age 767, the Time Patrol enter the timespace which is under attack by the Dark Empire. The group meet Gravy, who has also been transformed into a Demon God. He battles them along with a group of soldiers and the Red Ribbon Androids, who have been corrupted with dark power. Managing to drive him off, the Time Patrol move on and encounter Xeno Cell, who taunts Trunks and fights them.

The group pursue Cell, fighting through several Cell Juniors empowered with dark energy. They are stopped by Putine, who has also been transformed into a Demon Goddess. As Putine fights the Time Patrol, she gathers energy from the battle which she sends to Xeno Cell, triggering a Dark Evolution that evolves him into Cell X. Despite Cell X's transformation giving him near-limitless Ki, the Time Patrol are able to destroy him, and the Dark Empire flee with his Dark Dragon Ball. Before the Time Patrol leave the timespace, Xeno Trunks wonders who the figure empowering the demons is.

Dark Demon God Buu[]

The Time Patrol arrive on Earth in another timespace already being attacked by the Dark Empire and Xeno Majin Buu. Xeno Trunks sees Dabura, who has also become a Demon God, and proclaims that he won't allow Dabura to have his way with Earth. Dabura responds angrily that his only interest is Buu, and that everyone who interferes will pay. The Time Patrol fight their way through the Dark Empire forces, including Mira, Gravy and Putine. They also encounter Majin Vegeta, Pui Pui, Spopovich and Yamu at the World Martial Arts Tournament, who have been brainwashed by Xeno Majin Buu and empowered with dark energy.

The Time Patrol fight Dabura and Xeno Majin Buu, trying to protect Earth from both groups. Xeno Majin Buu pretends to flee, luring Dabura into chasing him. After separating him from the rest of the Dark Imperial Army, Buu absorbs Dabura, gaining the power of a Demon God for himself. The Time Patrol fight him and his forces, killing his henchmen and causing both him and the Dark Empire to flee the timespace.

Advent of Mechikabura[]

The Time Patrol follow the Dark Empire to another Earth, which has been seeded with the Tree of Might. Fighting past the Turles Crusher Corps they encounter Xeno Turles, who has been resurrected after his first attempt at growing the Tree of Might. As the Dark Empire start attacking, Xeno Goku stays behind to fight Turles while the others attack the Dark Imperial Army. Goku wipes out the Crusher Corps and prepares to finish off Turles when his Dark Dragon Ball starts reacting to the power from the Fruit of the Tree of Might, causing him to enter his Rampaging state. Despite his power greatly increasing, Goku is still able to take him out, and he leaves to rejoin the others.

Xeno Trunks meanwhile attacks the Dark Imperial Army and encounters Salsa, another Demon God. Fighting past him he meets the Dark-Masked King, who proclaims that the Time Patrol will be perfect test subjects for the power that Mechikabura has bestowed upon him. Trunks thinks to himself that Mechikabura must be the mastermind behind the Dark Empire while Xeno Vegeta, who arrives to join Trunks, finds something vaguely familiar about the Dark-Masked King. They battle, with the Time Patrol managing to crack the Dark-Masked King's mask. Before fleeing, the Dark-Masked King recognizes Vegeta, and Vegeta briefly wonders if he is King Vegeta before dismissing the idea as impossible.

Pursuing the Dark-Masked King, Trunks and Vegeta come face-to-face with Mechikabura himself atop his flagship. Trunks and Vegeta battle Mechikabura and his allies, aiming to take out the Dark Imperial Army as a whole by defeating them. Though they are able to hold their own against Mechikabura, their strength even surprising the king and forcing him to reconsider his plans, Mechikabura and his forces are able to escape the timespace.

Xeno Janemba[]

The Time Patrol, now aware of the Dark Dragon Balls' significance, arrive in The Scorching Hell where Towa is after another Dark Dragon Ball. The Time Patrol fight their way through the demonic forces, also encountering clones created by Xeno Janemba. Along the way they run into Super Pikkon, who agrees to help them. They reach Towa, who orders the Demon God Shroom to attack them. The Time Patrol hold their own against the Dark Empire's Grim Reaper, and follow him as he retreats deeper into Hell.

In The Glacial Hell, the Time Patrol encounter Xeno Janemba, who has the five-star Dark Dragon Ball embedded in his chest. During the battle, his Dark Dragon Ball goes out of control, and he transforms into his Evil Demon state. The Time Patrol pursue him deeper into The Chaotic Hell, fighting past the Demon Gods in the process. During the fighting, Xeno Goku and Vegeta fuse into Xeno Gogeta. The Time Patrol defeat Xeno Janemba and Towa prepares to fight them for the Dark Dragon Ball, when Dark Demon God Buu appears and absorbs Xeno Janemba. The Time Patrol and Towa work together to fight Buu, giving him enough of a beatdown that he chooses to escapes the timespace. Towa sneaks off in the confusion and the Time Patrol leave Hell, wondering why the Dark Empire want the Dark Dragon Balls.

Super Namekian[]

The Time Patrol enter another timespace, where Xeno Lord Slug and his forces are battling the Dark Empire. The Time Patrol fight both sides, with Salsa arriving with his battalions to aid Towa and Mira. Goku and Vegeta use the Potara to fuse into Xeno Vegito, and transform into the Super Kaio-ken form. During the fight against Xeno Lord Slug, Dark Demon God Buu arrives, aiming to absorb Lord Slug and add his Dark Dragon Ball to his own.

The Time Patrol corner Towa, who prepares to escape when Dark Demon God Buu loses control of his body; undoing his absorptions and freeing Dabura. Towa uses the opportunity to empower Xeno Lord Slug, causing his Dark Dragon Ball to go out of control and transform him into a Super Giant. The Time Patrol are able to kill Xeno Lord Slug, punching through his chest, but Towa is able to escape with both his and Buu's Dark Dragon Balls. Trunks resolves not to allow the Dark Empire to seize the last Dark Dragon Ball, and Xeno Vegito spars with the other Time Patrollers before they leave the timespace.

Dark Broly[]

Chronoa tracks down the timespace containing the last Dark Dragon Ball, and points the Time Patrol towards a dimensional ripple in a forest. They spot Xeno Paragus leaving and decide to follow him after recognizing his eyepatch as Dark Empire technology. Paragus meets with Towa, and reports that he found Dark Broly sleeping inside Hell, and fitted him with a mind-controlling mask. Xeno Trunks reveals himself, and Towa orders Paragus to distract them while she flees. Paragus fights the Time Patrol for a while, leaving when his job is finished.

The Time Patrol track Towa down, who fights the Time Patrol to buy time while her soldiers brainwash Dark Broly. She leaves to check on him, followed by the Time Patrol, but finds that the mind control was ineffective. Dark Broly attacks Towa, injuring her enough to knock her out of her Demon Goddess state. Dark Broly attacks the Time Patrol, but leaves when he senses Xeno Goku. As Towa lays dying, Mira arrives and asks her to entrust her body to him. He absorbs Towa and leaves to give chase to Dark Broly. The Time Patrol pursue him and attack him en route, forcing him to divert away.

The Time Patrol follow Dark Broly's Ki to the Demon Realm, where he is confronting Xeno Goku. The Time Patrol join the battle, and together manage to deal damage to Dark Broly. As they prepare to rush him together, Mira swoops in and snatches the Dark Dragon Ball, flying off to deliver it to Mechikabura. With the Dark Dragon Balls gathered, Mechikabura summons Dark Shenron to his tower, and Chronoa warns the Time Patrol to be prepared for anything to happen. Dark Shenron's presence causes time to start distorting, causing a version of Bardock to appear. Initially mistaking Bardock for his Xeno counterpart, Bardock decides to beat an explanation out of him, initially fighting as a Super Saiyan before powering up to Super Saiyan 4. The Time Patrol manage to fight him off, and the Time Patrol prepare to siege Mechikabura's Tower to save their world.

Mechikabura Revival[]

At the summit of his tower, Mechikabura asks Dark Shenron to give him eternal youth, so that he can regain his full strength. Dark Shenron agrees to grant the request, but warns that it will take time to fulfil due to Mechikabura's sheer strength. Having spent an eternity inside the Crack of Time waiting for that moment, Mechikabura agrees to wait, and his forces amass to defend the tower.

The Time Patrol return to the Demon Realm, and start fighting their way past the assembled Dark Empire forces. Among the demons who attempt to stop them is Towa, who has been released from Mira's body by Mechikabura. Partway up Mechikabura's Tower, their path is blocked by the Dark-Masked King, who rallies Xeno Paragus and a group of soldiers to hold off the Time Patrol. Xeno Bardock enters the fray, and tells the Time Patrol to continue climbing the tower while he takes on the Dark-Masked King. Having immediately recognized him as King Vegeta, Bardock mocks him for his sycophantic reverence for Mechikabura, while King Vegeta disregards him as low-class filth. During their battle, King Vegeta loses his cloak and mask during the battle, and manages to overpower Bardock. With no other option, Bardock pulls out his broken mask and puts it on, amping himself with its power as he transforms into a Super Saiyan 3. Despite the great increase in power however, King Vegeta is still able to overpower Bardock. As he prepares to finish off the low-class Saiyan, he is attacked from behind by Xeno Paragus, who manages to take out King Vegeta at the cost of his own life.

The Time Patrol continue ascending Mechikabura's Tower, fighting their way through the combined might of the Demon Gods and their armies, as well as Demigra. They finally reach the summit of Mechikabura's Tower, and confront Mechikabura himself. To buy more time, Mechikabura summons all the Demon Gods to the summit to defend him and fully restores them, with Mira re-absorbing Towa. The Time Patrol manage to defeat the combined group of Demon Gods and challenge Dark Shenron himself, aiming to destroy him before Mechikabura's wish can be granted. The Supreme Kai of Time unleashes the power of time in a final effort to prevent the wish, but Mechikabura, Mira and Dabura manage to hold them off long enough for the wish to be granted. With his youth restored, Mechikabura's strength becomes insurmountable, and he easily takes out both Chronoa and Trunks. As he prepares to wipe out the Time Patrol, Chronoa unleashes her energy to seal herself and the entire Demon Realm in the Time Labyrinth, teleporting the Time Patrol back to the Time Nest before she is gone. Xeno Trunks thanks Chronoa, and promises to rescue her.

Game and Manga Differences[]

  • While Xeno Dende created the Dark Dragon Balls in both versions, he only physically appears in the manga.
  • The fight between the Dark Empire and the Time Patrol over the One-Star Dark Dragon Ball takes place in the present in the game, and on Namek in the manga.
  • Xeno Dodoria and Xeno Zarbon aren't present in the manga.
  • Xeno Frieza uses his 100% Full Power in the manga.
  • Mira's death and suggested replacement only occurs in the manga.
  • Xeno Trunks in the manga arrives with Xeno Vegeta in order to combat Cell. While in the game, Xeno Trunks instead brings Xeno Goku, as well as Beat and Note in the trailers
  • The fight with Xeno Cell and the Demon Gods is almost completely different between the game and the manga.
    • In the game Xeno Goku is present, and turns into Super Saiyan 3. The manga instead introduces Xeno Vegeks when Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks fuse.
    • Xeno Cell doesn't create Cell Jr. in the manga.
    • Putine fights alongside Xeno Cell in the game, giving the Xeno Cell Jr the Villainous Mode power up. Putine doesn't join the battle in the manga, and Gravy joins forces with Xeno Vegeks to destroy Cell X.
  • In the manga, Chronoa teleports Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks to help Xeno Goku, who is struggling with Xeno Majin Buu and the Demon Realm Soldiers.
  • While the beginning of the game has Xeno Dabura face Xeno Majin Buu, the manga instead has Xeno Goku who facing off against Xeno Buu.
  • Chamel comes much later in the manga, albeit without his team. He doesn't appear at all in the game itself.
  • The introduction of Xeno Turles is much sooner in the manga, with Mechikabura and his group there to retrieve the Dark Dragon Ball in his chest.
  • The manga greatly differs from the game during the battle with Xeno Turles and Mechikabura:
    • The Time Patrol is not present in the manga when Mechikabura and his team try to retrieve the Dark Dragon Ball from Xeno Trunks, with Mechikabura killing Xeno Turles instead of Xeno Goku.
    • Xeno Turles's henchmen don't appear in the manga.
    • The Time Patrol rest in the Sacred World of the Kai. In the manga however, Chamel arrives and tells them that Hell is becoming more and more agitated.
  • In the manga, Chamel fights alongside Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. In the game opening, it is Beat who is alongside them instead.
  • In the manga, Shroom fights against Xeno Janemba and ultimately prevail after cutting him in half. In the game however Xeno Janemba easily defeats Shroom.
  • In the manga, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta fuse together in order to fight Shroom. In the game they fuse together in order to fight Xeno Janemba instead.
  • In the manga, only Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks appear in this timeline and they are soon assisted by Chamel. In the game opening, they are also joined by Chronoa and Beat and Chamel does not appear at all.
  • Xeno Lord Slug's henchmen appear in the game, where they use the Villainous Mode transformation.
  • Xeno Lord Slug only appears in his Great Namekian form in the manga, whereas he initially fights in his base form in the game.
  • In the manga, Towa uses her magic to put Xeno Slug through a Dark Evolution while he is in his Great Namekian form. In the game, the transformation is instead directly caused by the Dark Dragon Ball, and happens while Slug is in his base form.
  • In the manga, Salsa shows up after Xeno Gohan and Xeno Trunks have fused into Xeno Gohanks and when Towa is fighting the Dark Demon God Xeno Majin Buu. In the game, Salsa is alongside Towa and Mira from the beginning.
  • In the game opening, Beat and Xeno Trunks are there alongside Xeno Goku in the battle against Dark Broly and were defeated prior to him becoming Super Saiyan 4. In the manga, they do not appear at all.
  • The battle with Dark Broly takes place inside a castle of sorts in the manga, while in the game it takes place over several locations, ending in the Demon Realm.
  • In the manga, Mechikabura and all of his followers witness the battle with Dark Broly. In the PV trailer, only the Dark-Masked King is there with Mechikabura and in the game none of them are present.
  • In the manga, Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku joins the battle after Dark Broly and Mira had already begun fighting. In the game, it is the other way around and Mira joins the fight after Xeno Goku and Dark Broly start fighting.
  • After the defeat of Dark Broly in the game, Xeno Trunks encounters Bardock from another timeline, who fights the Time Patrol first in Super Saiyan, before transforming into a Super Saiyan 4.
  • In the game, Xeno Bardock's fight against the Dark-Masked King happens during the Time Patrol's final battle with the Dark Empire. In the bonus chapter of the manga, the battle takes place before Dark Shenron is summoned.
  • Xeno Paragus gets the final blow on Xeno King Vegeta in the game, while in the manga he is killed after stabbing Xeno King Vegeta in the side.
  • In the game opening, Chamel is not present on the side of the Time Patrol and in his place, Beat is there. In the manga, Chamel is involved and Beat never appears in the manga at all. In the game, neither appears.
  • In the game opening, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku fuse immediately, before the fighting begins. In the manga, they fight individually at first but due to being either injured and exhausted they fuse together mid way through the battle.
  • In the game, Mira reabsorbs Towa during the final battle with the Time Patrol.
  • In the game, Demigra fought alongside the other Demon Gods during the final battle.
  • In the game opening, Chronoa is shown transforming when matched up against Towa. In the manga, she does not undergo this transformation until she reaches Mechikabura and never confronts Towa.
  • Chamel's secret alliance with Demigra only exists in the manga.
