Dragon Ball Xenoverse Skill description

Counter Burst is an Energy Wave-based counterattack used by Vegeta in Dragon Ball Xenoverse series.

Overview

The user projects an Energy Shield that upon being hit by an enemy's Ki Blast based attacks allows the user to counter with an even more powerful Ki Blast of their own.

The technique itself is based off how Vegeta killed Sorbet with a deflected ki blast from Frieza in the film, though the energy shield was not present.

Appearance in games

Counter Burst was named and first appeared in Dragon Ball Xenoverse as one of Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta's Super Skills. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior as in Resurrection ‘F’ Pack DLC Parallel Quest Event: "Room to Spare". In the game, it acts as a counter to Ki Blasts and Ki Blast skills.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it returns as on of Vegeta's skills in his SSGSS form. After the 1.09.00 Update, it can be added to Vegeta's custom skillset after purchasing it for 5 TP Medals in Partner Customization.
