Conspiracy (インボウ Inbō) is the first episode of Dragon Ball Daima. This episode first aired in Japan on October 11, 2024.

Summary[]

In the Demon Realm, Gomah and Degesu, the younger brother of Shin, use a magic monitor to jump through the key events that occurred when the Earth was invaded by the Organization of Babidi and then later Majin Buu, learning along the way of the Earth's Dragon Balls and it's powerful warriors.

After witnessing the death of Dabura, Gomah becomes the new King of the Demon Realm. After also witnessing the eradication of Buu at the hands of Goku, the two realize that nobody now stands in the way of their plans. However, their celebration is short lived when Dr. Arinsu, sister of Degesu and Shin, arrives and stirs up Gomah's anxiety by suggesting what could happen to the Demon Realm and his wellbeing should those who defeated Majin Buu invade.

When Dr. Arinsu leaves, Gomah is left to voice those concerns to Degesu. He has the sudden idea that he should use the Dragon Balls of Earth as opposed to those of the Demon Realm due to their difficulty to obtain. Realizing that a wish to kill would not work, he decides instead that he will ask Shenron to turn all those involved in Buu's defeat and their friends into children, weakening them significantly and taking away their threat. For his second wish he decides that he would acquire the Evil Third Eye, a powerful item that when placed on the forehead grants the user absolute power but became lost during the reign of King Abura, Dabura's father. As they begin to head off to put their plans into motion, they are unaware that nearby another demon has overheard the entire conversation.

Tamagami Number One guarding Demon Realm Dragon Balls

Outside of the Demon King Palace, Gomah and Degesu impatiently wait for Neva, an elderly Namekian who they wish to bring along with them due to knowing so much about the Dragon Balls, being the creator of both the Demon Realm Dragon Balls and the mighty Tamagami that guard them. The three enter a Demon Realm Plane and approach a Sir Warp who allows them to travel to a relay point on the way to the Outside World after being given the appropriate pin number. Meeting another smaller Sir Warp, the trio head towards Earth in Universe 7 but not before finding out that Dr. Arinsu had also previously visited that location for reasons unexplained.

Trunks celebrating his ninth birthday

Meanwhile at Capsule Corporation, Goku and the others celebrate Trunks' birthday where Trunks reveals to Krillin that he just turned nine, which he unattentively made fun of his height, which Trunks reminded Krillin he's short too. Goku reveals that Saiyans don't get a growth spurt until they turn fifteen and insults Vegeta's height, who asks if Goku wants to fight. Goku then notices that Shin and Kibito are no longer Kibito Kai as he thought that if two people put on the Potara they can't be separated. Shin and Kibito explain that when Goku and Vegeta separated from Vegito inside Buu's body, they learnt that Buu's insides produce a type of gas that can nullify the Potara's powers and asked Buu to absorb and spit them out as well. After eating, Goku and Vegeta start to fight to burn off the food they ate.

At The Lookout, Dende and Mr. Popo watch the battle between the two until they notice the sudden appearance of a spaceship. When the Demon Realm inhabitants leave the ship, they are quick to notice Dende and inform him of his ancestry as a Demon. Gomah demands that the Dragon Balls be brought to him though Dende refuses. So instead, Neva uses his abilities to not only summon all of the Dragon Balls to their location but turns them from stone back into usable artifacts.

Goku turning back into a kid due to Gomah's wish

Dende tries to intervene, but he is struck down by Degesu just prior to him summoning Shenron. Gomah asks the Dragon to turn all who fought Majin Buu and their friends into children and to turn the existing children into babies. The wish is granted as all those at Capsule Corporation along with Goku and Vegeta in the skies above begin to see a drastic change to their bodies.

  • This episode is 10 minutes longer than a standard episode of any anime series.
  • Gomah's wish is reminiscent of Emperor Pilaf's wish in Dragon Ball GT.
  • This is also the first episode in the entire Dragon Ball franchise not to include longer titles or any of the Dragon Balls in the background as it was in the past.
