The first miniature Chiaotzu model was produced by French company AB Groupe in 1996 (dated 1989). The figurines were packaged six in a set and stood at a very small size, at about 2 inches in height. The packaging read as Dragon Ball Z “Super Guerriers” and this specific set was Coffret Number 23 (Series 23). Chiaotzu stood wearing his Emperor clothing as he is seen with in Mystical Adventure with his hands kept to his sides. Others included in this set were Tapion, Minotia, Supreme Kai, Kid Goten preparing to fuse, and Kid Trunks preparing to fuse.

The second Chiaotzu model was produced as a miniature collectible by French company AB Groupe in 1996. The figurines were packaged six in a set and stood at a very small size, at about 2 inches in height. The packaging read as Dragon Ball Z “Super Guerriers” and this specific set was Coffret Number 26 (Series 26). Chiaotzu stood firm with his basic clothing intact and a stoic expression on his face. This figurine was not re-released as a part of the Irwin Toy line quite a few years later although numerous other characters from the Super Guerriers lineup were among the re-releases. Others included in this set were Ran Ran, Lucifer, Yamcha, Android 15, and Bulma holding baby Trunks.

Chiaotzu's original model from Coffret 26 was re-released in this bundle by AB. The figurines were packaged in a large bundle as a box set with randomized “Super Guerriers” in the series and stood at a very small size, at about 2 inches in height. Unlike many of the other figurines that were also released by AB Groupe, this miniature Chiaotzu was never re-released by Irwin Toy in its initial “The Saga Continues” series. Among the mini-figures that came alongside this Chiaotzu were equally rare figurines of Android 15, Mercenary Tao, Salza, Chi-Chi, Kibito Kai, Yamcha, Super Saiyan Gohan (Great Saiyaman outfit), Bulma holding Baby Trunks, Lucifer, Ran Ran, and Kid Gohan, whom were also never re-released by Irwin Toy.

The "Boules de feu série Jaune" (also known as "Bolas de fuego serie Amarilla" and Feuerkugel, Gelbe Serie") which translated means "Balls of Fire Series Yellow" is a set of miniature bulbous gashapon pieces with the upper portion of some characters included. This set was released in 1996 by AB Groupe and has 21 pieces to collect in the series. There are three different base sets released in this collection, each with 7 unique characters included. The full collection has three different base sets (black, yellow, and blue). Characters included in each set are as follows: Black Series (assortment number 041009/15) Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Tien, Super Saiyan Gohan with Great Saiyaman outfit, Super Saiyan Vegito, Piccolo, Minotia, and Goku. Yellow Series (assortment number 041023/29) Tapion, Videl as Great Saiyawoman, Frieza in his final form, Chiaotzu, Krillin from Saiyan Saga, Krillin from Buu Saga, and King Kai. In 1989, a series of miniature quarter-priced rubber machine toys was released, much like the Ultimate Muscle series and coming in randomized colors. They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set came in a random color and all of them were very tiny and immobile. Chiaotzu appears once in this miniature set, with both arms kept to his sides and a smile across his face. The mini rubber figurine is available in numerous colors, including red, yellow, blue, green, and tan. This miniature Part 1 Keshi set has included a few of the characters from the Vegeta Saga (also known as the Saiyan Saga) and some characters from the Piccolo Jr. Saga. Popo is included in the part 1 set. One of Bandai's Keshi series, it has included characters such as Raditz, Ox-King, Chi-Chi, Yajirobe, Mr. Popo, Bulma, Piccolo, Kami, Gohan, Goku, Chiaotzu, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Hero for a total of 15 pieces in the part 1 set.

The Mini Figure Selection series Part 2 was released in September 2003 and has included a repertoire of characters from the Dragon Ball series in a nice bronze color highlight. Included in this set is a miniature Chiaotzu, who is seen jumping up and preparing to perform his deadly Dodonpa technique as the background portrays a World Tournament wall and arena underneath him. This miniature figurine is well-crafted and has a distinct bronze coloring scheme, matching the rest of the Mini Figure Selection series set.

Bandai's Mini Figure Selection series volume 3 was released in March 2004 and has included a repertoire of characters from the Dragon Ball series in a nice bronze color highlight. Included in this set is a miniature Chiaotzu with his large hat along with his combat partner and best friend Tien. Chiaotzu is seen standing in front of Tien and slightly to the side as both wear their ceremonial clothing. The miniature figurine set is well-crafted and has a distinct bronze coloring scheme, matching the rest of the Mini Figure Selection series set.

Before the initial HG collection, a gashapon set entitled "Collection Volume 3" was released in January 2004 with ground bases featuring a few characters from the Dragon Ball Z universe. Included in this roster was Tien alongside Chiaotzu. Chiaotzu is seen standing with both arms kept to his sides as Tien crossed his arms. Both maintain a serious and determined stance and expression. The round ground base for this piece is shaped like tournament blocks. Other characters also included in this same ground-base set are King Piccolo blasting, Super Saiyan Vegito, Vegito, Gotenks, Super Saiyan Gotenks, Mr. Satan with Bee the puppy, Majin Buu, Grandpa Gohan, Krillin with Turtle, and Kid Goku blasting.

The Chara Puchi releases by Bandai were not limited to the phone strap series. In February 2004, the second set of Chara Puchi figurines was released and incorporated plenty of characters from the Dragon Ball series run. In this set, all the characters came sitting on top of a mini Dragon Ball. Chiaotzu came sitting on a Dragon Ball and with a miniature base, maintaining both his hands in front as he has a joyous smile across his face. Others included in this set and also sitting on Dragon Balls are the Jackie Chun, Launch, Puar, Bulma, Goku, Mr. Popo, Upa, Tien, and Grandpa Gohan. Also, the initial releases of these mini-figurines came with a small piece of candy.

Full Color R Part 2 Chiaotzu figurine

Bandai has offered a nice set called the "Full Color R," series and the Part 2 set was released in 2004 and includes characters from various sagas. The Chiaotzu in this set comes standing with both arms dangling to his sides as he levitates above the ground base, a transparent attachment allowing this effect to be better realized. Others included in this gashapon set are Tien, Super Buu, Vegeta, Semi-Perfect Cell, Krillin, Kid Gohan with sword, Bulma, Super Saiyan Future Trunks, and Goku. The base Chiaotzu stands on comes with his own unique insignia, which in this deciphers his affiliation.

HG Collection Part 11 Chiaotzu figurine

Released in July, 2006, the HG Collection Part 11 included Chiaotzu alongside Tien as an accessory character piece and as a part of its assortment. The Chiaotzu here levitates in a fierce fighting motion, his eyes enlarged and his hands spread out as he pulls of one of his telepathic techniques. Also included with the figurine is a small transparent base to aid in its floating posture. Aside from Chiaotzu and Tien, others included in the Part 11 set are Cooler, Android 19, Dr. Gero, Super Saiyan Future Trunks slicing with his sword, Piccolo, and Goku with Yardrat outfit.

Another of Bandai’s releases is the Soul of Hyper Figuration “Kaio-Ken Times 3” 2008 set, which was announced in November 2008 and released in December 2008. The set included a figurine duo scene between Nappa and Chiaotzu. Nappa is seen attempting to grab Chiaotzu from behind him, who is preparing to pull off his self-destructive explosion in order to defeat the brutish Nappa. This piece stands at 7cm and is extremely well-detailed, encompassing numerous angles of movement, particularly in the case of Nappa's arms and legs flailing in numerous directions as he struggles with a strenuous effort to yank Chiaotzu from behind. Other figures included in this set were Raditz, Goku, Piccolo, Tien, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, and Kid Gohan.

Bandai's Soundrop gashapon keyring series features voices of characters from "Dragon Ball Z." The fourth set was released in November 2008 and the lineup consists of eight keyrings that play voices when a button is pressed. The eight different pieces included in the fourth Soundrop set are A) Gohan [Forest Green], B) Super Saiyan Goku [Red], C) Chiaotzu [Dark Green], D) Raditz [White], E) Piccolo [Black], F) Super Saiyan Vegeta [Blue], G) Android 18 [Navy Blue], and H) Goten [Orange].

This 3-pack set released by Bandai includes Nappa with Chiaotzu, Raditz, and Vegeta from the Soul of Hyper Figuration 3 Times Kaioken series. The figures and stands remain exactly the same but are re-packaged in a different set which allows all three characters to be obtained in one pack. All three bases come stacked atop each other in the packaging and the characters are seen within some bubble space apart from each other. This pack is Set 2 of 3 different sets available. Set 1 includes Yamcha, Krillin, and Goku while Set 3 includes Tien, Piccolo, and Gohan.

Bandai's Part 7 set of the Deformation series entitled "Coming Menace" was announced in December 2009 and released in January 2010 with the figurines standing at about 5cm. The Chiaotzu in this set stands at 1.75 inches and comes in his deadly Dodonpa attack posture, where he maintains a finger in front, preparing to unleash the devastating shot of energy. The black round base of the figure reads the character's name, which in this case goes for the alternate naming scheme of "Chaoz" and allows for the mini figurine to stand on top of it. Other pieces included in this same Part 7 set are Guldo, Captain Ginyu, Raditz, Frieza in his first form, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Nappa, Gohan, and a secret figure (Prince Vegeta, who is seen in his young age).

Bandai's repaints were a common venture and it was no exception when it came to the Dragon Ball Kai SG Collection series. The Volume 1 set included a repertoire of characters in red, blue, and yellow coloring schemes. These were all the same as their original HG Collection pieces in terms of the models but the paint job was altered just for this specific set. Spanning the Vegeta saga and some of the movies which revolved around Saiyan-related characters, the SG series 1 set included the following characters and their pertaining color scheme in accordance: Broly (Yellow), Vegeta (Blue), Goku in charging position (Red), Raditz (Red), Nappa (Blue), Bardock (Blue), Yajirobe (Yellow), Gogeta (Red), Krillin (Blue), Goku in battle stance (Blue), Chiaotzu (Yellow), Piccolo (Yellow), Tien (Red), and Kid Gohan (Blue).

Released in 2011, Chiaotzu is included in the Maxi Collection Z Hero Special Part 1 set. This set is very similar to the HG Collection Part 20-I and Part 20-II series set although it now features a gold and color base as opposed to a bronze and color base for this set. Chiaotzu is seen with a serious expression as he maintains his position with both hands kept to his sides. A nice addition by Bandai is the Ultimate Deformed Mascot Phone Strap Kai Burst series part 3 which was announced for 2013. The figurines in this set stand at about 3 cm (40mm) and Chiaotzu is included in this set as he appears in his self-sacrificing state, both hands tightly gripping his opponent as he bids his friends farewell with a tear in his eye. All the figures included in this set come with their chains, which are intended to be used as phone straps or for other attachment accessories. Others included in this UDM Kai series 3 set are Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Omega Shenron, and Turles.

A set of plush are tentatively planned by Bandai for May 31, 2014. These plush pieces stand at approximately 130 x 90 x 130mm. Characters included in this plush series set are Majin Buu, Chiaotzu, Mister Popo, Korin, and Goku. Each has a unique style and is a great addition to any Dragon Ball plush collection. The packaging features an orange hue as an elongated box with a front bubble allowing all the pieces to be seen.

Entitled "Desktop Figure," the set includes Chiaotzu as he prepares to perform his explosive sacrifice, Cyborg Frieza being halved, Goku preparing his Spirit Bomb, Majin Buu, and Vegeta being wrapped in Majin Buu's Potbelly Attack. The Chiaotzu piece is used as a suction attachment for a desktop computer screen.

The other angle portrays Krillin blasting his Kamehameha as Chiaotzu attempts to dodge the oncoming blast. Both angles are perfectly brought to life through this diorama set. Banpresto's double-linked Keychain series have included a set pertaining to the allies of Dragon Ball Z. This set is series 1 of the 3 sets that have been released and has included Chiaotzu with his green and yellow outfit along with his comrade Tien, who wears his green pants and has his shirt off. Both maintain a determined stance and are confident of their abilities. Other pieces included in this "Friends Edition" set are Android 18 with Android 17, Piccolo with Gohan, Future Trunks with Vegeta, and Goku with Kid Gohan. Aside from this Friends Edition, the next two sets released in 2004 and 2005 incorporated the "Couples" of Dragon Ball Z and the third installment concentrated on the "Rivals" and enemies of the series.

This variant of the DX Chiaotzu piece was released in September, 2008. The packaging depicts Shenron swirling in the background. Others included in this same DX Vinyl Special Series 2 set are Kid Goku, Mr. Popo, and Korin.

Banpresto’s additional HSCF series was released in March, 2010 in the “HighSpec Coloring Figure (HSCF)” series 4 assortment. Standing at 8cm, the figure is titled as number 16 in the set and comes in an authentic box and image art. Others in this assortment include Tien (number 15), Captain Ginyu in Goku's body (number 13), and Vegeta (number 14). The paint job, unlike any previous releases, is extremely shiny and is a perfect likeness, reminiscent more toward the cel-shaded art of the recent game franchises. The figure comes in the usual combat posture, with both hands in fists. Of course, Chiaotzu has a serious expression here as he is prepared to combat his opponent.

In 2010, Banpresto released a Chiaotzu collectible in the form of a keychain and figurine displaying him charging his self-destruct technique as the aura around him begins to spark and engulf his presence. His position is also very unique as he maintains a gripping posture, as he did against Nappa. The sparks are seen flying as he lets go of his final tears in order to sacrifice himself for his allies. This piece was included with the Dragon Ball Kai releases as the keychain sets. Others included in this same set are Zarbon, Nappa, Vegeta, and Super Saiyan Goku.

Released in February 2010, the "Intense Battles" Capsule Neo collection was a great addition to the MegaHouse repertoire of diorama pieces. Like many other MegaHouse series, this set was released as a colored version and a gold version of the same figurines. However, this special diorama piece is available only in a colorized variant and depicts the primary Z Fighters from the first Dragon Ball Z arc. The completed set of the Part 24 collection brings together a nice diorama of Goku raising his arms upward as Piccolo, Gohan, Chiaotzu, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha all encircle the ground around him, forming Earth's Special Forces. This the first Chiaotzu figure released at a 3-4 inch scale and it remains a great piece. As an overall piece, this figure maintains a joyous expression with both hands in open postures as Chiaotzu sports his cultural emperor-like clothing. He also comes with his hat as an accessory, which makes the piece a unique one due to the placement and removal of his clothing and garb. Chiaotzu's robe may also be removed from around his neck, allowing his green uniform to be seen better.

Chiaotzu’s pose is that of his special blasting technique, placing precision on his aerial jump as he successfully launches his Dodonpa. His chaotic and frantic expression depicts his determination and adds realism to his powerful strike.

Released in May, 2000, the Crazy Bones addition to the Dragon Ball franchise has brought a nice repertoire of characters in this miniature format. GoGo's Crazy Bones (also referred to as Crazy Bones or GoGo's) are small collectibles that became popular during the 1990s and 2000s, produced by Spanish company Magic Box Int. and additionally by PPI Worldwide Group, which remains the only distributor in North America. They are named crazy bones due to the craze revolving around the collection of these pieces. The Dragon Ball Z set spans the Saiyan/Vegeta saga debacle as well as the Namek Saga conflict and has 40 pieces in the set. Each figurine comes in a multitude of colors and designs but remains the same sculpt. Chiaotzu is included in this set as a full-body piece and is collectible number 33 of the set.

In the 90's, a series of miniature quarter-priced rubber machine toys was released, much like the Ultimate Muscle series and coming in randomized colors. They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set came in a random color and all of them were very tiny and immobile. Released by Plex, a box set has included 18 Keshi pieces along with 2 large full-color pieces in the set, one of Gohan and one of Goku. Chiaotzu appears once in this miniature set, although the same mold appears in numerous colors, such as red, green, blue, yellow, or tan. The mini rubber figurine comes with a smile on his face, one hand raised up and signaling a victory motion while the other remains to his side. The 18 basic Keshi Characters included in this box set are Nappa, Raditz, Piccolo, Krillin, Chi-Chi, Ox-King, Chiaotzu, Tien, Yamcha, Kid Gohan with hat, Kid Gohan holding his hat, Kid Gohan with sword, Kid Gohan with ceremonial clothing, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Goku, Yajirobe, and King Kai.

This is pack 3 of the DaiWon model kit series. Other sets included in this series are pack 1: Goku with Krillin, pack 2: Yamcha with Puar (who is colored white), pack 4: Bulma with Oolong (who is colored green), and pack 5: Master Roshi with Turtle (who is colored red). Each box set features a unique packaging with images of the included characters.

A miniature rubber set released by Cremino comes with chocolate flavored candy. All four major sagas in the series have been released in this format, including the Vegeta Saga, Frieza Saga, Cell Saga, and Majin Buu Saga. Chiaotzu appears once in this mini-wrapped set, this piece being very similar to mold seen in Super Guerriers Coffret No. 26, with his basic clothing and stoic expression. There are a wide variety of characters included in this mini set. The packaging reads "Juguete" which means "Toy" and the details read "Golosina Sabor A Chocolate," which translated means "Chocolate Flavored Candy." The Toei Animation logo is also present on the wrapping. The miniature figurines are produced in numerous colors, which in the case of this specific Chiaotzu piece, is available in numerous transparent and base hues.

The boxed packaging reads "1:12 Scale Resin Cast Model Kit" and "Original Mold By Tetsuo Katoh 1988." Additionally, it portrays the Banpresto logo and seal as well as the Kaiyodo logo.
