Chatty (オシャベリ Oshaberi) is the fourth episode of Dragon Ball Daima. This episode first aired in Japan on November 1, 2024.
Summary[]
With Glorio's plane having been stolen, he, along with Goku and Shin are left with no other choice but to make their way on foot as flying is made too difficult due to the air in the environment being too heavy and taxing on the body over long distances. After continuing their journey they come upon the Sea of Darkness and make the short trip over it by flight. Suddenly a winged beast emerges and tries to eat Goku who just manages to avoid its sharp set of teeth. Glorio decides to handle the beast himself, avoiding its fire balls and getting in close to deliver a mighty kick which sends the beast crashing back into the sea. An impressed Goku compliments Glorio's strength noting that he may even be stronger than Shin.
The trio continue onward until Goku senses an ambush lying in wait. A giant demon appears from behind a boulder and tries to hit the diminutive Saiyan with a club but Goku easily avoids it and takes him out with a single kick. Afterwards Glorio questions how Goku knew that he was there to which he tells him that he sensed his Ki, an invisible type of energy and a concept that Glorio had never heard about before.
Sometime later, they reach a tea shop and decide to take a break in order to get something to eat. While Goku feasts himself on a skewered lizard, Glorio asks the owner for a plane. Unfortunately he does not have one and instead offers a Sky Seed which will take them about 120km in their intended direction. Meanwhile Goku browses the shops wares taking particular interest in the Medi Bugs, a set of different bugs which offer varying restorative or other abnormal abilities such as the power to fuse two people together and asks Glorio to purchase a set for him.
They leave the shop and make their way around the back to the Sky Seed boarding platform where the shop owners bring the Sky Seed out for them. The three board the unusual means of transport and after its leaf is pulled they are jettisoned off into the air. With no means of controlling the vehicle, the trio are left with no choice but to quickly jump off at the last minute lest they fall into another Sea of Darkness. Now only a half days walk from the castle, Goku suggests flying the rest of the way and using one of the Medi Bugs to restore their stamina though the idea is turned down as neither Glorio or Shin like bugs.
Walking on, Goku asks about the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm with Glorio telling him that unlike Earth's Dragon Balls, the Demon Realm Dragon Balls are not hidden, instead everyone knows where they are, with one ball on each of the three Demon Worlds, protected by one of the Tamagami and that one must defeat them in order to obtain it, a feat that as far as Glorio is aware has never been achieved before. While Goku sees it as a fun challenge, Shin reminds him that they are there to rescue Dende but Goku argues that if they were to obtain the Dragon Balls then they could wish for everyone to be grownups again which Glorio thinks is a worthwhile idea.
After heading into the next town and replenishing his thirst, the group spot the townsfolk gathered together in front of the Gendarmerie, the military police under the rule of King Gomah. The Gendarmerie demand higher offerings from the locals much to their dismay and threaten to steal years of their remaining life span if they come up short. Just as Goku is about to intervene, a masked figure intrudes and throws a Wasabi Bomb which fails to make the required impact. As they attempt to flee, the Gendarmerie grabs hold of them but Goku enters the conflict and using his Power Pole saves the individual and takes out many of the police.
Beginning to cause too much of a scene, Goku, Glorio and Shin make a swift escape to the outskirts of the town where they once again meet the masked individual who reveals her identity.
