Carmine and Soldier #15 (カーマインと15番 Kāmain to Jūgo-Ban, lit. "Carmine and No. 15") is the 101st chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga.
Summary[]
Heading back from Magenta's funeral, Carmine and Soldier 15 discuss the future of the Red Ribbon Army. Carmine determines that while they still have their funds and research, there is no point in them continuing operations while Gohan and Piccolo, the two they believe responsible for destroying Cell Max and causing the latest downfall of the army, remain active. Getting caught up in traffic they find Saiyaman X-1 and Saiyaman X-2 making easy work of several bank robbers.
After cleaning up all the mess caused by the robbers, Carmine having been impressed by their display of strength, approaches the would be heroes and offers a chance to speak with them over pizza. At the local pizza parlour, Carmine tells the two that he would like them to beat up a bad guy and offers payment in return. Trunks turns down the money and the two voice their uncertainty in tackling the mission, not believing it to be very heroic. Carmine eventually ropes them in after making out the two are turning down the opportunity due to fear of facing their foe, causing the two to take the bait and accept the mission to prove themselves.
Meanwhile on Beerus' Planet, Vegeta and Broly participate in a sparring session. Vegeta remains in control as he advises Broly, telling him to not suppress his rage but learn how to control it instead. As Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan, Broly proves able to hold his own without resorting to going berserk with Whis noticing his growth. Vegeta powers down, also pointing out Broly's ability to battle without losing himself in anger but that he is unable to bring out his full power at the same time because of it.
After a breather, Beerus who is seen fishing nearby, asks Whis about the latest problem that occurred on Earth with the angel telling him that Gohan and Piccolo had defeated Cell Max though Beerus needs to be reminded of who Gohan is, forgetting that Goku is a father. Vegeta tells all that at least according to Bulma, Gohan had surpassed both himself and Goku during the latest battle, something that Goku says he wished he could have seen but failed to notice due to fighting Vegeta at the time.
Back on Earth, Carmine takes Trunks and Goten to Gohan's House, making him out to be the evil bad guy that needs defeating. Carmine gets out of the car and starts shooting at the house causing Gohan to come rushing out. After recognising both Carmine and Soldier 15, Gohan angrily transforms back into his Beast state, believing that they are there to kidnap his daughter again. Gohan rips the car door off and spots Goten and Trunks inside and demands that they explain themselves as he powers back down.
On Beerus' Planet, Goku having sensed Gohan's huge power up uses Instant Transmission to teleport to Gohan's location, greeting them and saying that its been too long.
