Brench-seijin (ブレンチ星人 Burenchi-seijin, lit. "People from Planet Brench") are near human-like humanoids who live on Planet Brench.[1] In Dragon Ball Fusions, they are considered part of the Alien race.
Overview[]
Members of this race appear as near human-like humanoids of varying skin tone pigmentation and hair colors. The very high gravity of their planet makes all the Brench-seijin fast and agile when visiting a planet possessing lesser gravity.[1] At some point in history, members of this race were integrated into the Frieza Force. Cooler's top henchman Salza is one of those people.[1][2] Jeice, who is from a planet located in the same solar system as Brench,[1][3] is stated to be of the same alien race as Salza in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Members of these species also possess purple blood, which is demonstrated with both Salza and Jeice. The species also appear to possess vastly superior cognitive functions, as Salza, the genius of his planet; is capable of cataloguing and speaking 7,000 different galactic languages.[1][2][4]
In Dragon Ball Fusions, a female member of this race named Doola appears as both an enemy and a playable character. Doola leads the Doola Force a team of alien superheroines modelled after the Ginyu Force. In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, it is revealed that another female member named Bonyu was a former member of the Ginyu Force who left the team due to her disinterest in posing.
In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Jeice is shown to be a member of the Ginyu Force during Frieza's first visit to Planet Vegeta with King Cold to inform the Saiyan Army of King Cold's retirement and the Frieza's takeover of the Occupation of Planet Vegeta and the army's transition from the Cold Force to the Frieza Force in Age 732 suggesting King Cold was responsible for the race's integration into his family's empire similar to his role in the discovery and annexation of the Saiyans beginning the Occupation of Planet Vegeta.
