Break Wasteland

The Break Wasteland (ブレイク荒野)[1] is the place where Piccolo leaves Gohan to survive alone for six months before they can start training together to prepare for the arrival of the mighty Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa.

Overview

Break Wasteland is a vast wasteland filled with many dangerous animals, including a violent T-Rex who continuously chases Gohan. The young boy initially disliked this land, but grew fond of it over time. Gohan even made some friends here, like an injured Apatosaurus (later killed and eaten by the T-Rex) and the old robot C-6 (later destroyed by the collapse of the Nemuria Ruins).

Later, while on Namek, Gohan notes the terrain of the area is very similar to that of Planet Namek and that Piccolo may have been drawn to the landscape by instinct.
