The episode of bardock was also based off heroes which is why i used that as a example to compare to begin with to show that it can be done better not good but watchable at least.

I Honestly don't watch heroes as narratively people have wrote better fanfiction than most of the dragon ball stories recently.

Anything after z generally has bad writing worse than that of actually fan fiction alot of time as these fan fictions have something dragon ball lacks now passion as the writer toriyama has been done with dragon ball since his manga has finished and only made the buu saga due to the amount of fans for the manga.

Never said it was the pinnacle of writing i said it had interesting narratives unlike the cashgraps toei and the other companies make like super,gt and heroes.

Every show has bad moments here or there as nothing can be perfect but when something is so obviously a cashgrap with very little passion or interest even put in and even the episode of bardock which was not that good you could still see where they coming from narrativey and at least tried to make a decent product.
