"Hahahahahahaha I crack myself up."
— Gogeta

Bluff Kamehameha (ブラフかめはめ波 Burafu Kamehameha) is a comical version of the Kamehameha used by Gogeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form.

Overview

Gogeta holds his hands back to his side in a Kamehameha stance. However, when he fires the attack, it releases confetti and streamers instead of the typical blue energy wave.

A Multi-Form Gogeta charges a Bluff Kamehameha

Gogeta uses this attack during his battle against Omega Shenron. First, Gogeta replicates himself into five beings and, while preparing the Bluff Kamehameha, they claim it had enough power to finish off Omega Shenron. At first, Omega Shenron is shocked at this, but when the five Gogeta fire the Bluff Kamehameha at Omega, it covers the Shadow Dragon in confetti and streamers. While Gogeta laughs at this, Omega Shenron becomes furious and continues the fight. Later, shortly after defusing, Vegeta irritably blames Goku for using the attack and wasting valuable time.

Bluff Kamehameha in Xenoverse

Bluff Kamehameha was named in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World, where it is one of Gogeta's attacks in his Super Saiyan 4 form. When used against the opponent, instead of inflicting damage, it reduces their ki-bars by four. If the opponent is performing a fusion or a special attack at the same time, the Bluff Kamehameha reduces their ki-bars by six. It also appears in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse as one of Gogeta's Super Skills. In this game, it can momentarily stun the opponent while at the same time reducing their ki-bars by nine, however it has no effect if used on the opponent from behind, as it only works perform on the opponent from the side or the front. While performing the technique the Kamehameha charging sound can be heard though no energy can be seen charging which serves as an indicator to the opponent that the Bluff Kamehameha is being performed, though only if the opponent is able to see the user, as the sound effect alone could fool an opponent into believing the user was charging an actual Kamehameha. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior as a reward in Parallel Quest 45: "Saiyan Battle".

In Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden, there is a chance that SSJ4 Gogeta will fire the Bluff Kamehameha instead of the Big Bang Kamehameha when summoned as a Z-Assist Support.
