The Bamboo Forest is a jungle on Earth. It is located west of East City and north of a heated desert.[1]

In the Dragon Ball anime, Krillin is seen in a forest very similar to the Bamboo Forest after he leaved the Orin Temple in East City for Kame House, in order to become Master Roshi's student. Yamcha, Bulma, Oolong and Puar also crash in this forest while they were going to West City after the events of the Emperor Pilaf Saga.[2]

Later, at the beginning of the Red Ribbon Army Saga, Goku spends times with monkeys in a jungle near Colonel Silver's Camp that could be the Bamboo Forest. Colonel Silver orders his henchmen to burn this forest in order to find the Dragon Ball located in the region near East City.

In the video game Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, after King Piccolo's defeat, Krillin returns to the Orin Temple only to find that it has been attacked by a girl named Paopao. He pursues the person who attacked the temple to the Bamboo Forest and defeats her there.
