Aya Matsui (松井 亜弥) is a female screenwriter, member of the Japanese Writers Federation. She is the one who wrote the story of Dragon Ball GT.

Biography

Like Katsuyuki Sumisawa, Aya Matsui gratuated from Takao Koyama's school. She worked on the movies Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo!! Follow the Rescued Shark..., Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: N-cha! Penguin Village is Swelling Then Fair, Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: N-cha! Love Comes From Penguin Village, and Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: N-cha!! Trembling Heart of the Summer. She also worked on Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball: The Path to Power, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Z Kai.

Outside of Akira Toriyama's manga series, Aya Matsui worked on Animal Crossing, Boys Over Flowers, Dokkiri Doctor, Eat-Man, Eiga!
