Aya Hisakawa is the second Japanese voice actress for Bulma following Hiromi Tsuru's passing in 2017. She is best known for voicing Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury in the classic Sailor Moon anime and Yuri Tsukikage/Cure Moonlight in Heartcatch Pretty Cure.
Trivia
- Ironically, prior to Bulma, Aya has been the voice actress of another genius girl with short blue hair and a penchant for technology.
- Aya was the voice actress for Chico in a filler episode of Dragon Ball Z many years before she became the voice of Bulma in Super.
- Aya also was the voice of Rem Saverem in Trigun, an anime that also starred Hiromi Tsuru (who voiced Meryl Stryfe).
