Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle

Another Hope is a variation of the One-Handed Kamehameha and Father-Son Kamehameha used by Future Gohan in his Super Saiyan form.

Overview[]

As Future Gohan desperately struggles to break through the enemy's defenses with his One-Handed Kamehameha, visions of Future Goku and Future Piccolo encourage him to stop holding back and release his dormant strength. Joined by his father and mentor's images and entrusted with their will, Future Gohan adds a newfound burst of power to his Kamehameha, overwhelming the enemy and engulfing them in the blue light.

Video Game Appearances[]

In Dokkan Battle, the move is featured as the Active Skill for Indomitable Fighter Super Saiyan Gohan (Future) and additionally is depicted being used by him in his animated artwork.

Trivia[]

  • The technique as a whole appears to be a re-imagining of the events of Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks, highlighting a what-if scenario in which Future Gohan proved victorious over the Future Androids and obliterated them.
  • This is the second technique to be created after the name Dokkan Original was coined by the developers of Dokkan Battle as a way of properly describing these "what-if"-esque animations. The first to be named this way was the Vegito Special, and multiple other characters would receive their own original attacks as well.
