Annin is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise. She makes her debut in "The End, the Beginning", the 153rd episode of the Dragon Ball anime, which premiered on April 19, 1989.

Annin is the guardian of the Furnace of Eight Divisions, the border between life and Other World. Following his engagement to Chi-Chi, Goku confronts her in an effort to extinguish the rekindled flames of Fire Mountain which threaten the Ox King's village. Annin transforms into a giant, using her headpiece as well as gales caused by her cape to fend of Goku, until Goku counters her techniques using the Bancho fan.
