High School Saga[]
Goten and Trunks run into Alpha 12 one night as he walks the streets of West City. After a passerby with a Helper Bot walks past, Alpha 12 activates a switch that causes the Helper Bot to go wild and run off. As he heads back to his base of operations on Butterfly Mountain he is tailed by the teenage Saiyans who soon find out what mischievous activities they are up to. Donning the persona of Saiyaman X-1, Trunks confronts the Alpha 12 series, easily dispatching them before facing Alpha 12. Unlike the others, Alpha 12 is unfazed when struck by one of Trunks' punches. However, upon transforming into a Super Saiyan, he is taken down with a single blow. Later when Dr. Hedo returns to the base and sees their operation ruined, Alpha 12 informs him that the one responsible wore a crest belonging to the Blue Hal High School.

Alpha 12 is able to resist a casual attack from Trunks, prompting the latter to decide he would need to use full power to deal with the Android - and then opting to finish him off with Super Saiyan when the lights went out, which he did with a single blow.
