Akihito Tokunaga (徳永暁人 Tokunaga Akihito) (born on September 22, 1971, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese musician, composer, and arranger.
Biography[]
Tokunaga is a senior high school graduate from the Tokyo College Music Department, and bassist in the Japanese hard rock band doa.
He is best known for developing the Japanese soundtrack of Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball: The Path to Power and Dragon Ball GT: A Hero's Legacy, replacing the retired Shunsuke Kikuchi who had composed music for the previous Dragon Ball series.
Having left the field of media scoring after working on Dragon Ball GT, he did not return for the recut series Dragon Ball Z Kai, which was handled by Kenji Yamamoto.
