"Accel Dance" was named in the Budokai series, where Krillin also replaces Android 17 in using the move for Android 18's Buu saga costume. The technique can also be used in Dragon Ball Z: W Bakuretsu Impact. It is also Android 17's Ultimate Blast in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 as well as Android 18's team attack in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and her ultimate attack in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi; in all these appearances, it is called the Sadistic Dance (not to be confused with Sadistic 18). Both Android 17 and Android 18 use Sadistic Dance as one of their Super Attacks in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. Depending on who uses the attack, the opposite character is summoned to assist. However, rather than using their Power Falling Star attack, they instead finish the combination with their Non-stop Violence. The Tournament of Power version of 18 uses the attack with 17 as well, performing as they did against Biarra.

As part of the 1.09.00 Update, the Future Warrior can learn Android 18's DUAL Ultimate Skill after achieving maximum friendship with 18. They can then speak to Android 18 who mentions she has been practicing team attacks together with her husband and notes that it is different than when she used to fight alongside her brother as coordinating their attacks was second nature due to being twins. She assumes that working with the Warrior would be a different experience as well before teaching them DUAL Dead End Rain which allows the Warrior and 18 (or the warrior and another time patroller) to perform the DUAL Dead End Rain in battle together. The technique can also be added to Android 18's custom skillset via Partner Customization though in her case it is automatically unlocked from the start. Though Android 17 (DB Super) can be equipped with both Dead End Bullet and Dead End Rain in his Custom skillset after purchasing them in Partner Customization (both separately cost 15 TP Medals to unlock) after randomly obtaining Customization Unlock Key 8 as a Raid Reward to unlock Android 17 (DB Super) in Partner Customization following the 1.15.00 Update, he cannot learn DUAL Dead End Rain and there is no Dual Ultimate Skill variant of Dead End Bullet, as his Dual Ultimate Skill is DUAL Super Electric Strike.

Accel Dance (アクセルダンス Akuseru Dansu) is a team attack used by Future Android 17 and Future Android 18 in Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks.

Overview

Accel Dance 1

Future 17 and Future 18 using Accel Dance (the beginning)

This "ultimate attack" starts with Future Android 17 and Future Android 18 relentlessly beating their opponent together, and then knocking them into the ground. The siblings then rise into the air and combine their Dead End Bullet and Dead End Rain. 18 and 17 can also use the previously stated techniques separately if they so choose. 18 teleports down to her opponent and kicks them in the arm before they hit the ground, inflicting a great amount of damage. Her kick is similar to when she broke Super Saiyan Vegeta's arm during their battle.

Usage

In The History of Trunks, this attack was first used by the Androids against Future Gohan in his first fight, and again in his last battle with them, where he was killed by their combined Dead End Rain and Dead Rain Bullet barrages.

Years later, after Future Trunks returns to his time, stronger than ever after the defeat of Cell in the main timeline, the Androids attempt to kill him with the combination of Dead End Bullet and Dead End Rain, but this proved to be futile, as Trunks merely dodges Future 18's and Future 17's attacks and knocks 18 to the ground with a single blow, forcing the evil android to resort to using the Infinity Bullet against him. Future Trunks easily deflected her attacks and annihilated her, and despite her brother's best efforts, he soon followed suit.

In Dragon Ball Super, the Androids use the technique during the Tournament of Power to heavily damage Biarra, allowing 18 to kick him off the fighting stage, with 17 remarking that "just standing there taking our attacks is about the dumbest strategy I've ever seen".

Variations

 • DUAL Dead End Rain - Android 18's Dual Ultimate Skill variant of Dead End Rain which she can perform together with the Future Warrior (or any Time Patroller CaCs) or by the Future Warrior and any Time Patroller CaC (online, offline, even the Toki Toki City Hero during certain parts of The Warrior of Hope Saga). While it is performed in a manner identical to Accel Dance, Dead End Rain is used by both partners and the barrages are initiated in the same manner as all Dual Ultimate Skills which differs from how Accel Dance's barrages are initiated.

In the Budokai series, it is named Accel Dance. In Budokai 3, Krillin replaces Android 17 in using the move for Android 18's Buu saga costume.

In Budokai Tenkaichi 3, it is named Sadistic Dance (サディスティックダンス Sadisutikku Dansu) and is Android 17's Ultimate Blast.

In Raging Blast 2, it is named Sadistic Dance and is Android 18's team attack. and her ultimate attack

In Ultimate Tenkaichi, it is named Sadistic Dance and is Android 18's Ultimate Blast.

In Dokkan Battle, Androids 17 and 18 use Sadistic Dance as one of their Super Attacks. Depending on who uses the attack, the opposite character is summoned to assist. However, rather than using their Power Falling Star attack, they instead finish the combination with their Non-stop Violence. The Tournament of Power version of 18 uses the attack with 17 as well, performing as they did against Biarra.

In Xenoverse 2, the Energy Barrage portion of this technique is separated into two Ultimate Skills named Dead End Bullet (Future Android 17's part of the technique) and Dead End Rain (Future Android 18's part of the technique). Both Skills can be obtained by the Future Warrior. Dead End Bullet can be obtained as a reward in Expert Mission 08: "Ominous Androids", while Dead End Rain can be obtained as a reward in Expert Mission 13: "A History of Mixed Battles!". As part of the 1.09.00 Update, the Future Warrior can learn Android 18's DUAL Dead End Rain after achieving maximum friendship with 18. The technique can also be added to Android 18's custom skillset via Partner Customization.

In FighterZ, this move is one of Android 18's Super Special Attacks. Like in the Budokai series, Krillin can replace Android 17, if he's on the same team as 18 and alive. If Krillin replaces Android 17 for the move, he performs a Kamehameha for the final part of the attack instead of 17's energy wave.
