^In this case it's easy to know where the Super movies fit in because they are canon.
I don't think Gohan's age is more important than Dende being the new Guardian, if you watch it after Gohan is already a pre-teen, you could ignore it as a plot hole (because it is!), but if you watch it before Dende becomes the Guardian, it becomes a spoiler.
And I accept that the movies are set in alternate timelines and never happened in canon, I just want to do an imagination exercise for fun purposes.
Fusion Reborn is even worse lol, I put it between episodes 252 and 253
I know, but since Dende has already become the Guardian it doesn't make sense to place the movie before episode 172 (as it would be a spoiler for future episodes), I'm placing it after episode 174 for the sake of practicality: it's after a filler episode and before the episode where the Cell Games begin.
@Shin the science guy When I meant that it's possible to fit all the movies I wasn't saying that they fit perfectly into the canon, I meant that there's a specific place you can stop watching the anime to watch one of the movies, I personally place The Tree of Might between episodes 36 and 37 (it would work better in the 3 year gap before the Androids arrive, but the fact that Goku doesn't use the Super Saiyan and also Gohan and Icarus meet in this movie when they already knew each other in the Garlic Jr. Saga makes that unlikely)
As for The Return of Cooler, I place it between episodes 174 and 175, during the 10 days before the Cell Games.
I know the movies are not canon, but it is still possible to fit the movies, I managed to fit all of them except Bojack Unbound because I can't decide if it is better to watch the movie between episodes 194 and 195 or between episodes 199 and 200 (the only places the movie can fit)

I've never watched GT and skipped straight from Z to Super, the last time I watched Dragon Ball was the 2018 Broly movie, and now I plan on rewatching the Dragon Ball franchise with Daima included. But since Daima seems to reference GT a lot I've been wondering if I should watch GT before that.
