Disclaimer: I love the Ki power system & I've even used it as a base of r my stories power systems.

So I saw a video a while ago from the content creator named Classic Man D. He was asked if he'd rather have Chakra or Ki & he pointed out that really & truly Ki is a very underrated ability & is low-key very versatile.

& this lead me to think that Ki may actually be an underdeveloped power system. When looking at Ki in retrospect, i feel it should be more akin to Kido from Bleach. When looking back on the series as a whole, Ki's potential is insane; we've seen Ki users create solid clones, manipulate the elements, warp reality in various ways, & create time rifts. Take for example Nappa, he can use his Ki in such complex ways such as the earth's geomagnetic field in order to create a massive explosion. Along with that, Ki techniques are exclusive to bloodlines. So with the combined fact of it's complexity, raw power, & not be restricted to bloodlines I feel Ki going forward should be fleshed out more & more complex applications should be explored.

I mean technically in Heroes & other alternate universes we see characters who can manipulate their ki to manipulate matter, concepts, etc so I feel they should bring some of that complexity to the main DB canon.
