Great Namekian

Showing a little love to the Namekians with this one, they're so cool but rarely get any focus. Thanks to Daima, we've been given some info that helps connect the dots of the crazy lore behind the species. This is no way an official breakdown, it has a lot of headcanon and fanmade stuff that fill in the blanks to contextualize everything. This is also not in depth, so feel free to ask for more context if needed.

Taking inspiration from the 7 chakra system, I was able to connect several Namekian forms and abilities to a number of Saku (translates to "blooming") in their "life cycle".

Hara - Root - Base instincts, survival

• Inherent from Demon Realm

• Taught to Namekian children

• Connects all Namekians

• Abilities: body modification, life links, empathic links, magic

• Incomplete form: Great Namekian

• Complete form: Red Eye Namekian (Demonic State)

Hana - Self - Expression, consciousness

• Linked with Fusion

• Refined by meditation

• Largely shunned by Namekian culture (“The Forbidden Door”)

• Abilities: heightened senses, enhanced physical/mental attributes

• Incomplete form: All-Out

• Complete form: Super Namekian

Pura - Ego - Will, control

• Usually obtained by outside forces

• Differs depending on type of Namekian

• Only used under dire circumstances

• Abilities: longevity, manifest unique powers (body armor, healing)

• Incomplete form: Unlock Potential

• Complete form: Ultimate

Hata - Spirit - Freedom, clarity

• Can evolve from Ultimate form

• Draws power from outside sources (Namekian pride, kili)

• Considered myth by Namekians

• Abilities: god level power

• Incomplete form: Demon God

• Complete form: Orange Namekian

Udha - Truth - Wisdom, perception

• Taught traditionally amongst Namekian Elders

• Can be unlocked through Dark Magic

• Powers are passively active indefinitely

• Abilities: clairvoyance, unlocking potential, Saku

• Incomplete Form: Elder; Dark Priest

• Complete Form: Guru

This is where the fanmade stuff comes in... there aren't any forms or abilities that really connect to the chakras they're based on so all we can really do is speculate.

Ajna - Intuition - Enlightenment

• Only known user is Zalama

• Nigh impossible to achieve

• Considered the peak of Namekian power

• Abilities: reality warping, immortality, Ultra Instinct (or similar techniques)

• Incomplete Form: Eternal Embrace

• Complete Form: Eternal Dragon

A Great Namekian conqueror who leads the army known as the Slug Soldiers and the group known as the Demon Clan. Goes from planet to planet to terra-freeze their atmosphere to create another asteroid for himself to hide in. After collecting all seven Dragon Balls, he gets eternal youth and promptly dies to Goku, who gets a few power-ups.

Lord Slug as a movie is basically fixed version of Namek Arc. He is still pure evil for the sake of being evil, but unlike Frieza, Lord Slug seems more connected to Piccolo due to being a Namekian. He lacks large amount of transformations that change barely anything and while his powers are largely the same as Demon King Piccolo, he puts them to a better use. And his design is good from the get-go to finish, unlike Frieza's ridiculous first three forms and final "buff" form.
