I'm sure most of you have already seen the leaks from @MegalonIsAwesome2004 's post, but in the rare case that you haven't I'm going to do what he did & give you the opportunity to skip over this if you don't want to be spoiled
Alright, is this everyone? Everyone here wants to be here? Good, let's begin!
So for starters, I think it goes without saying that I wanted 21 to be in the game just a "little bit"...
What can I say? I really like 21. Sue me, call me a simp, I don't really care. I'm just disappointed that she's not in the base roster.
But alas, that's not ALL that important, like everyone else I'm sure she'll be DLC. Truthfully, the real reason I'm a little offended is because of the situation with the recently revealed pre-order character: Daima Goku. Now, I expressed PROFOUND disinterest in the possibility of Daima Goku being the pre-order character in the past, since we'd already have GT Goku & MAYBE OG Dragon Ball Goku.
Although that point might not be entirely accurate since I'm still not sure if this is Daima Goku or OG Dragon Ball Goku. If it's the ladder, then my argument still stands.
Although it being Daima Goku was probably inevitable considering that Daima's coming out around the same time, & they said the pre-order character was "never playable in any game before", hinting that it was going to be a new character so it only makes sense I suppose. Still, I can't help but be just a little disappointed. We waited all of this time & the pre-order character just ended up being, like I said, OG Dragon Ball Goku with Super Saiyan. Unless Daima Goku ends up having some crazy new ability(Which I doubt), I think it was honestly a waste of a slot. It's just another Goku in a game that already has like 30 different Goku's, with 2 of them already being a kid version. I know he's the protagonist & all but still, can't help but get FighterZ flashbacks. It's also kind of crazy that the Dragon Ball equivalent of the Glitter Force got into the game but none of the Super Hero characters did. Neither of the Gammas, no Orange Piccolo, no Beast Gohan, zip zap zilch. Again, what the hell? I knew everyone couldn't get into the game but still, that's ridiculous. You're telling me they could give Vegeta Blue Gamma Burst Flash but no Super Hero content?
Again, I know it'd be impossible to have EVERYONE in this game. I just think the roster could've been handled better. Keep Daima Goku in the base roster, replace some of the lesser characters like Bergamo or just make the roster a little bigger, & throw in some other characters of higher demand. That's all.
In other news, I will be boycotting Sparking Zero until 21 comes out(That's a joke)
