An idea I suggested in the past, but one I want to make into a full-blown thread.
- In this situation, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly has Lord Jaguar's scientists using Broly's blood (supplied by Maloja after he was kicked out of Natade Village in the previous film) to create two clones of Broly.
However, there is a difference. The first Broly clone - dubbed "Alpha" - is more carefully grown and also has the scientists perform a mind wipe on him; removing his memories of Kakarot and the events of the previous two Broly movies. As such, when he's released from his tank (Tank 12), he's a lot more placid; more akin to the DBS Broly in personality.
The second Broly clone - dubbed "Omega" - is another matter; been pure genetic replication of his original and with less interference in his growth (so he still has all his memories), with it been the plan of the scientists to see which one is 'superior' at a later date. Before then, Lord Jaguar plans to humiliate Hercule with his other Bio Warriors.
- The events of Bio-Broly then play out like before, with Android 18, Goten and Trunks accompanying Hercule to Mei Queen Castle; the trio easily defeating the Bio Warriors before been led to Lord Jaguar's "ultimate" Bio Warrior.
Sure enough, "Alpha" Broly is revealed (wearing provided clothes); terrifying Goten and Trunks to see him but leaving them confused when he doesn't recognize them, with Nain been the one to reveal the memory wipe to them.
- When Hercule steps up to fight him, Alpha Broly refuses; stating that there would be no point in fighting Hercule. (The reason is that he has sensed Hercule's power level and realized that he would win instantly, although Hercule comically interprets his refusal to fight as Broly recognizing that he wouldn't win against "The Champ").
To test the "mind wipe", Goten and Trunks spar with Alpha Broly instead, with all three getting into it and Broly still having some muscle memory of his abilities despite his mind been cleared; thus allowing them to have a good fight. Seeing this, and realizing Alpha Broly is actually really strong, Hercule plays nice; saying that Broly shouldn't just be a 'lapdog' to Jaguar and should be free live his own life instead of been couped up in a lab - even kindly offering for the Saiyan to come and live with him and his daughter Videl, although part of this is admittedly to try and keep 18 off his back regarding the money he owes her as she was already trashing his home earlier.
(This is also a reference to one of Broly's "What-if?" scenarios from Supersonic Warriors 2, where he arrives on Earth, develops amnesia and is taken in by Hercule; even becoming a "good" character for the most part).
- Angered at this - especially when Alpha Broly actively refuses to obey his commands anymore - Jaguar orders for "Omega" Broly to be released to deal with "Alpha Broly", Hercule and Hercule's "annoying friends". Despite the protests from Nain and Dr. Collie that Omega Broly isn't ready as his biology isn't stable, Jaguar furiously orders for it to happen.
As such, Omega Broly is released from his tank (Tank 13); been fitted with clothes by drones before he destroys them as he sees Goten and Trunks; immediately getting angry as he remembers their previous encounter and powering up to his Super Saiyan Form while screaming "KAKAROT!"
- As such, Goten and Trunks are once again forced to fight Broly, with their fight resulting in the release of the highly acidic Culture Fluid. Seeing his new friends and the lab personnel in danger and with the fluid spreading, Alpha Broly leaps into the fight; managing to power up to Super Saiyan himself (albeit not the bulky version) in order to aid Goten, Trunks and later 18 when Hercule agrees to pay her more, with Krillin later jumping into the fray and also been surprised to see two copies of Broly, with one supposedly been their "ally".
Alpha does try to calm Omega down during their fight as they're effectively brothers, but Omega refuses; demanding to know if Alpha is an imposter as he does not get angry at hearing Kakarot's name or seeing Goten and Trunks, with confuses Alpha as to why these things make Omega so mad - eventually writing off his sibling as a "monster" and that he himself will not die as one.
As the fight progresses, Omega Broly begins to deteriorate as a result of his genetic instability, with the heroes managing to finally blast him into the Culture Fluid...only for him to emerge as his hardened "Syrupy" form.
Question is, how do you think this alternate set of events would ultimately play out?
= Would the battle between both Brolys - possibly escalating to Alpha Broly becoming an Oozaru while Omega Broly becomes his gigantic form - tragically result in the death of both?
= Would Alpha Broly survive and maybe become a Z-Fighter, helping against Babidi, Majin Buu and other threats as we move into Daima and Super?
= Would Alpha Broly survive, but choose to head out into the world/into space to explore more?
Curious to see what you guys think.

I've seen an absurd amount of people say that Z Broly had "no personality" or "no character" with a nonsensical motivation and backstory, and only existed just for the sake of being evil and sadistic.
The REAL cause of Broly's trauma wasn't Goku's crying as a baby. Broly was quite literally stabbed and left for dead alongside his father who had just been dispatched by King Vegeta the same way (just without the sword). Pretty sure barely escaping the destruction of Planet Vegeta had something to do with it as well. Goku is just a way of reminding Broly of the suffering and torment he had to endure as an infant, leading him to try to destroy any remnants or reminders of his past (however with that being said is not the best course of action to take).
People also forget in the first movie he didn't just scream "kAkArOt" excessively. He had coherent speech and understood his murderous actions, he wasn't just a mindless brute like he was portrayed as in the later movies. You could argue that being psychopathic and murderous isn't good character personality, but it is a DBZ movie after all.
Goku's ass pull "miracle blow" or whatever has nothing to do with Broly's character either, it was just a quick way to end the battle because they were running out of movie time lmao
second coming and bio-broly still suck though

King Cold is one of the worst fathers and the worst characters in Dragon Ball history in my opinion. he's even worse when you try to "compare" him even though he's just trash than Frieza and Cooler, even they put much effort in fights and still lose lmfao.
2. Bio Broly, is one of the worst DBZ movies that I ever watched, what's so far, speaking about this character, it's just Broly that looked like he covered in shit when he got "brought back alive" and tried to "kill" Goku, but nah his only weakness, it's water and that's pathetic, I've never seen a villain that has a weakness to water 💀
3. King Cold, is weaker than a stick at least, like for starters how he even has the balls to ask Trunks to hold his sword after, Trunks murdered his son Infront of his dude? This man is basically asking for his grave, and the fact he's in his second form, and "look" strong it's pathetic, and the fact he is with Frieza and didn't do shit, because he weaker as Frieza, when Frieza tried to fight a Super Saiyan Goku, and barely survived the explosion of Namek, and also what's the whole purpose of King Cold to meant there? I mean, I guess he was meant there for a Plot device to Trunks, but atleast make him "powerful" as Trunks, but I understand.
Since @Kiarimiistired recently did a thread asking about people's opinions on Bio-Broly (both the film and Broly's goopy clone), I thought I'd ask this.
In Bio-Broly, we see that Broly's clone somehow has retained the memories of his predecessor - recognising Goten and Trunks before becoming enraged and bursting out of his tank; leading to the escape of the culture fluid and Broly's clone looking like he'd just climbed out of a vat of acidic piccalilli: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z8KP3rzBcE
However, what if Broly's clone didn't retain the original's memories; not knowing who Goku, Goten, Trunks or the rest of the Z-Fighters are and essentially been a blank slate who only knows that his name is Broly?
With this change, how do you think this plot would play out (assuming Bio-Broly was treated as canon)?
