Dodoria

- In the early events of DBS: Broly, we see that Bardock's original squad from the Bardock - Father of Goku special (Tora, Fasha, Borgos and Shugesh) are still around in this version of events. They are visible when Frieza shows off the then new Scouters while Toyotaro drew some artwork that depicted their mission to Planet Meat still going ahead.

In this artwork, Leek contacts Tora about Frieza's order for all the Saiyans to return to Planet Vegeta. While Tora states that the team never received the order, Shugesh realizes too late that the group have been ambushed by Dodoria and his team. As such, a similar event to Father of Goku occurs with the four Saiyans getting overpowered and slain - presumably with Bardock still killing Dodoria's squad and narrowly avoiding been killed by Dodoria himself before returning to Planet Vegeta and trying in vain to stop Frieza's Supernova.

- In this version of the story, Bardock (his DBS version) still comes to the conclusion that Frieza is planning to eliminate all the Saiyans by calling them home for no apparent reason, along with Frieza's troops asking around about the "Super Saiyan" legend (and to a lesser extent, the "Super Saiyan God" legend).

As such, we get the scene of Bardock convincing Gine to send Kakarot to Earth, with Bardock stealing a pod for him and setting its course for Earth; Gine later telling Raditz that she sent Kakarot to Earth, albeit with Raditz assuming that he was sent to Earth to conquer it.

- The next day after this has happened, Bardock decides to check on the rest of his squad as Tora, Fasha, Borgos and Shugesh are still off-world; learning from Leek and Taro that they've been sent to Planet Meat.

Not wanting to use the scouters as they can be monitored (and with Bardock bringing along a Saiyan Pod remote), Bardock, Leek and Taro take a pair of two-seater pods and head to Planet Meat directly. While Leek and Taro are reluctant to believe Bardock's theory about Frieza planning to end them all, they do want to make sure that the rest of their team were okay; trying but failing to use their ship's radios to contact the four as they had left their Saiyan Pods to get on with the mission.

Sure enough, Dodoria launches his ambush on the four; sending his team to do his dirty work. However, Bardock, Leek and Taro have arrived earlier; Leek and Taro remaining in the atmosphere on their ship and monitoring the events below, while Bardock parks his ship in a less noticeable location (after flying through a canyon to get close without been seen) and is able to join his squad to eliminate the pink alien's crew - saving their lives.

- With Cranbo and the other three Frieza Force members dealt with (along with their scouters been destroyed), Bardock - after destroying their scouters - instructs the four to head to his ship and escape into space after travelling through the canyon; informing them that Leek and Taro are waiting above in another two-seater ship.

As his crew flee, Bardock uses the remote to send three of the group's four pods up into space - with Dodoria seeing this and blasting at them. This allows Bardock to get in a sneak attack and begin fighting Dodoria now he can see where the pink minion of Frieza is.

Since Bardock is at a power level of 10,000 and Dodoria a power level of 22,000, however, Bardock deliberately winds Dodoria up to make him angry while striking him with hit-and-run attacks as he leads the spiky alien towards a cliff wall. After appearing to be trapped and with Dodoria closing in for a final shot (gloating as he does), Bardock uses the remote to activate the fourth pod and send it flying straight at Dodoria.

- As Dodoria is distracted and turns around to blast the incoming pod, Bardock cheap-shots Dodoria with a kick between his legs and blasts the side of Dodoria's face as he moves out of the way; destroying Dodoria's scouter and disabling him long enough for the pod to directly hit Dodoria and send both him and the pod smashing through the cliff wall - the pod pushing Dodoria and itself a considerable way in.

When the rocketing sound stops, Bardock detonates the pod; blowing it up right in Dodoria's face and imploding a significant portion of the cliff above to collapse on top of Dodoria. Not waiting around to see if Dodoria is dead or not, Bardock heads to the pods used by Dodoria's crew; blasting the other four to prevent them been used before flying off in Dodoria's pod.

- Up in the atmosphere, Bardock reunites with his squad - with Shugesh joining Taro and Leek on their ship while Tora, Fasha and Borgos remain on Bardock's ship.

With proof that Frieza is trying to end them, Bardock instructs them (via the ship's radio) to flee beyond the Empire's current reach as returning to Planet Vegeta now will be a death sentence; warning them to keep moving due to the dangers of the Frieza Force's scouters picking them up. When asked if he is coming with them, Bardock lies to them that he is going back to get Gine (although truthfully states that he has already sent Kakarot off-world).

Although reluctant, the six agree and their two ships head off in a different direction; Bardock using the remote to detonate the remaining three pods he sent up into space beforehand and set his ship on a course for Planet Vegeta - leading to his failed attempt to stop Frieza's Supernova (and Frieza lying to the remaining Saiyans that it was a meteor that destroyed the planet).

So, with all six of Bardock's active squad members alive now and having survived the Genocide of the Saiyans (along with Dodoria possibly been dead or heavily injured with no way of knowing where Bardock's squad went), do you think this would change Dragon Ball in any significant way, or do you think they would inevitably be found and killed by the Frieza Force?
