Something I was thinking about while watching one of MasakoX's videos about why Raditz won't return - with part of that video talking about Cumber and how, in MasakoX's opinion, it was a wasted opportunity to bring back Raditz; albeit a version of him from another universe.
(I'd recommend you set that video to 1.25x or 1.50x speed, but it's up to you).
- Put simply, we start by making Hearts a canon character; him been from Future Trunks' timeline and been a gifted warrior of his race thanks to his Gravity Manipulation power. However, he is defeated and gravely wounded by Goku Black (gaining the scarring on his body) when Heart's homeworld is attacked, but manages to survive. Sadly, his family and his entire race are all murdered as a result of Goku Black and Future Zamasu's "Zero Mortal Plan".
Keeping to the shadows, he keeps tabs on the two's activities and eventually finds them on Earth - seeing their battle with Future Trunks, Goku and Vegeta (in turn marveling at the power of these "mortals" while fighting "gods").
In turn, he also learns - thanks to his mind reading ability - of the Universe 12 Time Machine that Goku Black and Future Zamasu acquired during their slaughter of the other Supreme Kais (their way of eliminating the G.O.Ds and rendering the Angels inactive so no-one would stand against them).
- Ultimately, we get to the defeat of Fused Zamasu, the birth of Infinite Zamasu and Goku summoning Future Zeno to kill Infinite Zamasu...only for the Omni-King to destroy everything; the heroes escaping in their Time Machine while Hearts steals the Universe 12 Time Machine to escape been wiped out of existence by Zeno.
Needless to say, seeing his people wiped out by the renegade Universe 10 Kais and now seeing Zeno destroy the timeline's entire multiverse on a whim, Hearts vows to find a way to wipe out the Gods so mortals will be free to live as they desire without fear of divine beings wiping them out of existence.
- Having traveled back in time to Earth around the time of the original DBZ, Hearts watches the end of the fight with Goku and Piccolo fighting Raditz; learning of Raditz been Goku's brother and seeing both Saiyans killed by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon.
Once everyone leaves, Hearts acquires some of Raditz's DNA before using the Universe 12 Time Machine - this one having space-faring capabilities - to locate a Sir Warp near Planet Bapati and (using an old pin number, as Heart's race appear to be descended from demons based on the pointed ears) enter the Demon Realm.
- Taking Raditz's DNA to Marba, Hearts has the witch create a powerful warrior from the DNA as, from Hearts seeing Goku's power previously, he believes that this "Raditz Clone" should have similar potential.
Sure enough, she is able to do so; Hearts using his saliva to make sure this creation will obey him (similar to what Arinsu did with Majin Kuu) before they both witness the birth of a more powerful Raditz clone with dark magic powers, with Hearts dubbing him "Cumber".
With that, Hearts and Cumber leave the Demon Realm via Sir Warp to head out into the Multiverse to "gather allies" for Hearts' mission and find a way to defeat the Gods - ultimately leading to Hearts discovering more about the Universe Seeds created by Rymus and seeking to gain one for himself.
