- In the Trunks Saga, after King Cold recovered Frieza's mangled remains and had him reconstructed as Mecha-Frieza, the two would set off for Earth in order to get revenge; planning to eliminate Goku and his allies for what they did to Frieza on Namek and then either conquer Earth or just blow it up.
As we saw, however, things didn't go according to plan as the pair instead encountered Future Trunks after their arrival - who proceeded to wipe out the Frieza Force soldiers, slice Mecha-Frieza apart before burning his remains to a crisp and finally blast King Cold and their Mothership to oblivion.
Cooler and his Armored Squadron - believing Goku to be responsible - would later journey to Earth to kill Goku themselves for staining their family honor; this leading to the events of Cooler's Revenge.
- However, in this situation when Cooler learns of what happened regarding his brother, he decides to take the initiative; declaring to his father that he and his Armored squadron will be joining them on their journey to Earth as - despite hating Frieza and even wanting to kill his younger brother himself - "no one stains their family honor". As such, Cooler, Salza, Dore and Neiz this time join King Cold, Mecha-Frieza and their battalion of Frieza Soldiers on their journey to Earth.
With the additional aid of an elite trio and a powerful family member (himself with an additional transformation of his own), how do you think the events of the Trunks Saga would go in this scenario?
Would Future Trunks alone be able to take on the extra forces on his own, or - like in Future Trunks' Timeline - would Goku have to teleport in to assist?
Curious to see what you guys think.

Honestly, Cooler being canon would've made a lot more sense than Broly considering the fact that Frieza had come back by that point, and it would've made for a lot of interesting character development for him,
And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see more of Cooler's Armored Squadron either. Those guys were easily the best Dragon Ball movie henchmen.

In the beginning of the film Cooler's Revenge, we saw that Cooler was watching Frieza launch his Supernova at Planet Vegeta - destroying the planet, eliminating the majority of the Saiyan race (not including those on other planets) and killing many of his minions in the process who happened to be in the way.
During that time, Cooler's ship detected Goku's (or rather Kakarot's pod) - with Cooler deciding to let it go; a decision that, in the films at least, would ultimately come back to bite him.
However, what if Cooler instead intercepted the pod - discovering Goku/Kakarot (or whatever he ultimately gets named) inside and taking note of his similarity in appearance to the Saiyan who attempted to stop Frieza's genocide?
Despite this Saiyan been weak in power, Cooler hatches a plan as he declares for the child to be trained and turned into a warrior for his use - effectively becoming a "new recruit" for his Armored Squadron in the fullness of time and potentially becoming a weapon to take down Frieza and King Cold.
That would allow Cooler to claim what he (as the older sibling) believes should rightfully have been his - his family's Empire.
Additionally, if this Saiyan can be trained to become powerful enough to take Frieza down, the irony of the situation would make Cooler's victory all the more satisfying.
However, how do you think this scenario would ultimately pan out - with Goku not on Earth (despite Raditz still believing him to be there) and Frieza unaware of what his older brother is getting up to?
Curious to see what you guys think of this.
