Attack Ball

In the Saiyan Saga, before Nappa and Vegeta are due to arrive, the heroes gather the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron in order to revive Goku. However, before they can, Oolong asks Shenron if it would be possible for Shenron to defeat the Saiyans instead.

Shenron, however, states that it's not possible; clarifying that he cannot affect anyone more powerful than Kami - his creator - against their will.

So, we know that Shenron couldn't use his power to affect Nappa and Vegeta directly as they're more powerful than Kami.

However, what about their Saiyan Pods? Could he instead have caused those (as well as Vegeta and Nappa's scouters) to malfunction - either drastically slowing down Nappa and Vegeta's arrival to Earth or outright leaving them stranded in the vacuum of space with no means to call for help and with their pod's life-support system comprised or failing entirely?

(Admittedly a pretty morbid way to go, but it would end the threat at least).

Do you think Shenron could have done this, or would he be unable to and the original wish of reviving Goku would be used?

Event Being Altered: Goku's arrival on Earth

Who's stopping them: This time... Nobody! Fu sorta likes the idea Mira and Towa decided to do...so he's just going to go help Yamcha beat Mechikabura on New Namek...(If ya remember last time on TBPS)

Both Mira and Towa are floating near where Goku first lands on Earth...Towa's goal is to kill the young Goku before he grows up... but Towa realizes what Fu was doing with his little Experiment on True Infinite History... so she's going to do her own experiment...she opens a Time Rift and reaches beyond the known History...and she grabs hold of a Large man in Red tights...wearing jewelry...and a Mask with a single large eye...

Master Kohga: Huh?! I am the glorious master of the Yiga Clan! You have no right to do this to me!

Towa: *Tosses Kohga to the ground,* What a waste...Mira! You can kill him.

Mira: With pleasure...*He charges a Ki Blast and fires it at Kohga*

Master Kohga: *Shrikes as the blast is about to hit him*

Suddenly...2 Yiga Footsoldiers teleport behind their Master and teleport him out of the way*

Towa: Let's not waste our time here any longer, Mira...

Mira: *Fires another Ki Blast at Kohga...but this time a Yiga Blademaster appears and blocks it with his Sword...the blast is stopped but the Blade shatters.*

Mira and Towa leave... The Yiga Clan is glad to see them go...but they have no idea where they are... they have another issue... an Object is about to crash into the group...and the Saiyan Pod does... but they all teleport away before it hits them

Master Kohga: We will make camp elsewhere! Blademaster! Go get that...thing and let's get out of here!

Yiga Blademaster: *nods and quickly picks up the Saiyan Pod...not seeing Baby Goku inside*

A few miles south of the area where the Pod crashed...the Yiga Clan has set up camp.

Master Kohga: Does anyone have a Banana? *A Footsoldier hands him one, and he peels and eats it (He just tilts the mask up enough so he can bite the Banana and hide his face) Now then Yiga Clan! Let's see what's in this Ball!

Yiga Blademaster: *Pries opens the door...and is shocked to see that a child is inside...he picks up Baby Goku and presents him to Master Kohga...Goku is crying*

Master Kogha: *Sighs and takes another Banana from a Footsoldier* Here. *Gives the now peeled Banana to Baby Goku...who eats it savagely* Welcome to the Yiga Clan young one!

END OF PART 1

Donkai pressed a button on his Scouter to stop the relentless beeping noise. A message appeared on the screen, which Donkai read out of instinct.

“Planet Vegeta has been destroyed…,” he said to himself. “By a stray meteor? I don’t believe that for a second…” Donkai paused, fearing the worst. He switched modes on his scouter, looking off into the sky in the general direction that Planet Vegeta should have been. There wasn’t a single power level being picked up. But that meant…

“Please, let her be—” A single power level blipped onto the screen— 1,000. It was coming from a Saiyan Pod, which was flying towards the planet at high speed, seemingly damaged. Donkai evaded the Pod at the last second as it crashed into the surface, leaving a telltale impact crater around it. The door slowly opened up, lowering to the ground. Out of the Pod came a female Saiyan wearing the race’s traditional armor, albeit slightly broken from the crash.

“Lima!” Donkai said, relieved, rushing over to check on her. “Are you all right?” he asked, guiding her to a tree stump.

“I’m fine, just… a little shaken up…,” Lima replied, holding her head. She glanced back into the night sky. “Our planet’s really gone.”

“Was it actually a meteor that ended our race?” Donkai asked.

Lima sighed. “No, it wasn’t a meteor. It was Lord Freeza, he destroyed the planet. Only one person tried to stop him, but he ended up taking the brunt force of Freeza’s attack.”

“I’m not seeing any survivors on my scouter,” Donkai said somberly. “I just hope some of the others were off-world and we’re not the last Saiyans alive…”

“There was one other Pod taking off just before I left. I’m pretty sure it was just a lone child, though.” Donkai handed Lima a fruit from a nearby tree, the female Saiyan taking a bite after a moment’s hesitation. “What is this place?” she asked.

“Scouter says it’s called ‘Konats,’” Donkai answered.
