Like, for some, this might be obvious, but it's also a little bit less obvious for others. But anyway, the top dude is Maji-Kayo, and he is a part of Team Universe 3, a team from a very technologically advanced universe. And the bottom dude is the T-1000, one of the most iconic characters in action film history. Why do I link these two together? Well, not only did the trivia page of the wiki mention their similarities, but there are other reasons as well.
First off, the T-1000, much like Maji-Kayo, can create rudimentary weapons out of their semi-liquid form, which, while not very complicated, do ensure that they at least have something to fight with.
But what really pushed the point home wasn't really these similarities, but in a way how both were harmed that led to their defeat.
I mean... it's kinda the same, even down to the shape of the wound and the look on their face.
Funnily enough, this wasn't the first time that Toriyama ever drew inspiration from the Terminator series, as in the Future Trunks series, it follows Trunks, a mysterious warrior from the future returning to change things and warn that machines are about to take over. In that saga, Trunks comes back in time to save Goku's life, who the Androids are seeking to kill, as he knows that Goku is the only one who can defeat them. The same is similar for the Terminator movies, in which Kyle Reese, a warrior from a dystopian future, comes back in time to stop a Terminator from killing Sarah Connor, who is the mother of John Connor, the one responsible for leading the resistance in the future and defeating Skynet and it's legions of Terminators, which are machines overlaid with biological flesh, which is not too unlike the Androids, though the androids are more human-to-robot cyborgs as opposed to robot-to-human cyborgs like the Terminators. It's always interesting to see what stories inspired the Dragon Ball arcs we love so much. Interesting easter eggs will pop up, and only a select few might notice them, and the best part about it, is it might inspire people who enjoy Dragon Ball to try out other series and broaden their horizons for storytelling. Makes for a good tribute to one of James Cameron's best films he ever directed, and one of the most influential outside of Avatar (Perhaps even more influential than Avatar).

- In the anime, we saw Vegeta - after letting Cell absorb Android 18 - try to take out Perfect Cell with the Final Flash. However, Cell, who had initially planned to take the blast head on, realized that the attack was much more powerful than he anticipated and tried to dodge at the last minute; resulting in him only losing half of his upper torso (which he then regenerates).
- However, what if Cell didn't dodge out of the way?
In this case, Android 16 (who was witnessing Vegeta charging his attack and still seeing Perfect Cell as a higher priority to destroy than Goku) decides to make sure that Cell takes a direct hit; telling Krillin and Future Trunks to clear the area.
With the Bio-Android watching as Vegeta fires his attack, he's taken by surprise as Android 16 grabs him from behind; preventing him from fleeing and meaning that the full force of Vegeta's Final Flash strikes both opponents directly.
As such, Perfect Cell is wiped out entirely, as is Android 16; him dying a hero here.
- So, with Perfect Cell and Android 16 both gone (and Vegeta probably feeling pretty pleased with himself for wiping out the bug man without Goku needing to get involved), how do you think the Dragon Ball timeline would change - especially with no Cell Games here?
Curious to see what you guys think.
um I guess I'm an android 16 roleplay account
read the bottom of my bio for a bit more info

Bit of a quick "What-if?" idea for you guys to ponder on; getting your thinking meat cooking, as it were.
- Hypothetically speaking, lets imagine a scenario where Android 16 survives the events of the Cell Games - with Goku still sacrificing himself to save Earth due to Semi-Perfect Cell been a sore loser by wanting to "go out with a bang", before Gohan later destroys Super Perfect Cell with the Father-Son Kamehameha and the aid of the other fighters.
- With Goku confirmed to be dead and not coming back to Earth (for the time being anyway), this allows 16 to finally delete his "Kill Son Goku" mission objective as it has technically been completed.
As a result, he heads off to become a protector of nature - similar to what he did in one of the games where he'd defeat poachers and protect all wildlife. That said, he still keeps in touch with Bulma and Capsule Corporation and also gets some more upgrades to his body/repairs when needed; this contact saving him later as he is able to get off Earth along with Goku, Vegeta, Dende, Mr. Satan and Bee when Kid Buu destroys the planet.
- Question is, if he survived to the "Super Hero Saga" and was able to meet Dr. Hedo, how do you think their meeting would go?
I ask since 16 is based off Dr. Gero's oldest son, Gevo - who is Dr. Hedo's uncle; Gevo's brother abandoning the Red Ribbon Army as he thought it was poisoning his father's mind. Could 16 maybe have some hidden files relating to Gero's younger son in his system?
If not, might Hedo actually recognize 16 as been one of his Grandfather's creations and that he's based on his Uncle?
Curious to see what you guys think.
