Carrying on my selection of thread where the movies are integrated into the main timeline, one way or another.
In the original version of Super Android 13!, it's stated that - in terms of its Timeline Placement - it takes place after Goku recovers from the Heart Virus but before he revealed the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to Gohan, Future Trunks and Vegeta; this placing it in the latter half of the Imperfect Cell Saga.
However, it's also considered as "taking place in an Alternate Universe" as Dr. Gero's Supercomputer was destroyed by Krillin and Future Trunks following the first encounter with Cell, yet the Supercomputer in Super Android 13! is very much intact and active.
- In this case (and keeping it to one version of events), Dr. Gero's Supercomputer still re-creates Androids 13, 14 and 15 while gathering some more last-minute data from the fighters with the remaining drones (like the one that Piccolo spotted monitoring his fight with Imperfect Cell).
As such, when the Android trio are released - and with the drones having picked up on Imperfect Cell and his fight with Piccolo, with the data matching with the data from the version of Cell that is currently growing - Dr. Gero's Supercomputer instead instructs the trio to seek out Cell and ascertain the origins of this creature, as well as determine whether it is an ally to their causes.
If it's an ally, join forces to eliminate Goku. If it's a threat, terminate with extreme prejudice.
- This order ends up been the last one the Supercomputer gives to the trio, as Krillin and Future Trunks find the hidden lab, recover the blueprints on Androids 17 and 18 and then blow Present Cell and the Supercomputer to bits along with the rest of the lab.
Thanks to their infinity engines making them immune to sensing Ki and with the trio able to do a triangulated sweep of the area where they detect Cell's brief energy flareups from feeding, it doesn't take long for the two forces to meet up.
However, what do you think would be the outcome of this meeting?
= Would 13, 14 and 15 form an alliance with Cell - with them maybe helping him achieve Perfection and assisting him with his future endeavors now that Gero's Supercomputer is gone?
= Would Imperfect Cell reject any assistance and a fight break out between the Red Ribbon creations - possibly allowing the heroes to get rid of two birds with one stone? (Sorry 16).
= Would Cell ally with them but then betray them later; simply using them as his pawns while not truly caring for their worth when he got what he wanted?
= Would something else happen entirely?
Curious to see what you guys think.
