she had so many chances to literally give up against Spopovich but no, her doing this is what leads to Gohan getting his energy stolen by Spopovich and Co. If she had just decided to give up against Spopovich, Gohan wouldn't get pissed off about Spopovich beating the crap out of her and that wouldn't lead to his energy getting stolen. Indirect or not it's still dumb regardless

Spopovich's only mistake was fighting back.

The whole fight with Spopovich was fine and slightly reasonable, it's only after he got back up from something you should not have gotten back up from, it where she messed up.

and as for Vegeta letting himself get possessed. that's not just dumb but petty too. keep in mind he killed loads of people just to spite Goku into fighting him.

and he intentionally let himself get possessed leading to Buu getting released.

^^yeah Videl messed up the moment she tried to snap Spopovich's neck. She's lucky Spopovich didn't die from that due to the Majin Magic. Why did she even try to kill him?

It was more of accident on her part, she genuinely wasn't trying to kill him, and him dying to that was honestly the best outcome.

Because A: As we clearly saw, she would've been disqualified anyways. B: That's already one minion down for Babidi, and C: More of a chance for Yamu to leave and the Kais and fighters to follow him.

I'd say Vegeta letting himself get possessed is the most dumb; followed by Videl not giving up against Spopovich, Goku not finishing Fat Buu and Gohan getting arrogant again (Did Gohan not learn what happened the last time that happened)?

and for 50/50 is Super Buu absorbing Vegito (Super Buu wanted to become stronger by absorbing the strongest fighter which was Vegito; but at the same time he should have known Vegito did that to save his children

None of these are even that dumb.

Gohan being arrogant again is dumb because him acting like that is what caused his father to die because of his overconfidence, and he clearly didn't learn from what happened the last time he was arrogant.

Vegeta letting himself get possessed is dumb because he's putting the whole world at stake just because he can't handle the fact that his rival's more powerful.

Goku not finishing off Fat Buu is still a big mistake. Goku himself knows about the mistake and says he did it because he wanted Goten and Trunks to handle him. And that's not really a smart thing for Goku to be doing.

I think Anew has already explained why the Videl one is dumb

Super Buu absorbing Vegito isn't smart because Vegito could just rescue the others and weaken him from the inside.... and that's exactly what he did. Not really a smart move for Super Buu considering him doing that ironically makes him weaker.

It's indeed smart for Vegito in that his plan worked, it's dumb for Super Buu because Vegito wouldn't willingly let himself get absorbed for no other reason.
