@Ssinougan To be fair to Yamoshi, we have no idea how strong the Saiyans of his time were, they were probably much stronger than what we see in the Saiyan Saga and this is likely before they kept track of specific numbered power levels so it's likely the Saiyans of Yamoshi's time were much stronger relatively speaking, hell the Frieza Force was probably holding the Saiyans back compared to their potential of what they could be leading to the Saiyans before Goku & Vegeta's generation to be weaker than their ancestors, plus he was probably fighting an entire army by himself so he also had a numbers disadvantage and only had Grade 1 of Super Saiyan, meaning he would be losing energy at a rapid pace like SSJ3 and unlike Grade 4/Mastered Super Saiyan
