Infinite has the Phantom Ruby which casually scales above the Chaos Emeralds, which themselves are very much universal objects. According to statements, the Earthlings currently aren't even stronger than Goten and Trunks apparently. Goten and Trunks aren't universal.

^Yeah, but the problem is that they didn't show it. This is a case of "tell don't show" they tell you the Phantom Ruby is above the chaos emeralds, but they did a poor quality of showing it considering the fact that Base Sonic, Base Classic Sonic, or even our Base Character can beat Infinite with the ruby, and eggman after making the ruby stronger, no Chaos Emeralds, or Master Emerald. And the beings Infinite makes are weak and easy as heck to beat.
