Sadly wasn't able to finish the backstory. For those interested, here are the main points to be added:
Auli makes Ragus realize that he was only trying to prove himself to his clan and that that wasn't his true ambition
Soon after Ragus realizes his passion for metal works, which leads to him becoming a Kingsmith
Auli and Ragus are wed
He becomes the best of his craft, everyone wanting a Kodai forged by him
His wife dies in combat while on a mission to rescue a squad, saving hundreds of lives
Ragus gives up his passion for smithing
Decades later he encounters a young girl named Nozuta
Nozuta reignites his passion for Smithing, teaching her everything he knows
Ragus celebrate Nozuta becoming the General of the 5th Division
Ragus leaves planet Planet Rewdesh, enjoying his retirement but became bored and took up Smithing again building a forge from scratch
Nozuta brings back a wounded Saiyan asking Ragus to forge him a blade; Ragus declines but offers up his shop
They become surrounded by Remnants; Ragus goes out to defend them as they continue
Ragus' skill is able to contend but not forever, eventually being beaten down
Memories of his wife and Nozuta push him beyond; transforming into Iwazaru
In the end, the power isn't enough and he's once again beaten down
Ruttsu, the wounded Saiyan from before saves Ragus just in time, defeating the hoard in an instant
